they now have 4 wins on the year and some real close calls vs PHI (38-35), MIA (31-27), SEA (48-45), and MIN (28-24).
it doesn't excuse laying an egg but it was bound to happen at some point this year. a home loss like this happens to every team every year so i agree it's the injuries that are a gut punch. especially the preventable one (jackson).
Seems like they get an ACL every game. They should just rename ACLs to "Giants Knee." As in, he went down with a Giants Knee.
Jackson's injury was totally self-inflicted. They're somewhat lucky that was only an MCL. That's why you don't play key players on returns. Live with Ritchie James or teach someone else who isn't a critical starter how to do it.
The Giants won some games this year they probably should have lost. Now they lost one they should have won.
make it obvious that they just sit back and rely on narratives and norms.
Detroit has played tough games all season. They have a lot of talent and you could see that coming into today they had started playing their best ball of the season.
This game scared me as much as any on the calendar recently.
It’s gonna be great to watch everyone force KT out of town
Meanwhile our second round pick is clearly not as good and has same injury issues…in a surprise year where most of us would do naughty things for a WR. I hope KT goes off tonight.

People freakin out about this are ridiculous. Anyone that gambles now this was literally the ultimate trap game. What’s a bummer is we have like 5 starters playing at this point.

Outstanding post. We need to be concerned about Washington too. They are playing well and they have more weapons than is. We have 5 more games in our division. I think 2-3 would be a miracle
All teams have down games and up games. Plus we know we are building, not ready to be consistently winning yet. A team can learn a lot from a game like this.
However now we are back with nothing at WR and CB

He obviously didn't want to play here.
How do we know that? We are in full in “Schoen we trust mode” meanwhile most the roster isn’t him. Make it work. It’s a failure and I gurantee KT is gonna be special out there. I’ll delete my damn profile if he’s not. That Saints game last year? It all happened because of him. Parcells could have traded LT because he was a pain in the ass but he didn’t. Make it work

Because right after he got traded, he put out a tweet saying he was never hurt. And because almost immediately after getting traded, he's available to play on his new team.
Has nothing to with trusting in anyone. It's common sense. Guy is a POS.

Yeh no shit he wasn’t hurt. How do you know the team told him to sit tight so we can make a trade?
We need recievers, but sit tight. What a fucking jackass to make a statement like that. He didn't want to work for his playing time. Kansas City has him, and everybody is coming out of the woodwork in support of him. I guarantee he will be a flop, because he is a piece of shit. A piece of shit willalways float to the top for everyone to see. Wait, just wait.

Have you watched this Lions offense at all this season. This game followed the exact pattern I was concerned about
Giants defense would be unable to get off the field, Giants offensive line would not be able to generate any run game. Exactly what happened
Now Giants, a crippled team go into Dallas with very little opportunity to win. No pass rush, back ups to backups in defensive backfield
Giants get mini bye following Thursday s game. If they get guys back, play off push begins with Washington
If they don’t get some guys back, play offs are done
I mean, this isn't high school talent we're talking about here.
Quote:
If it's Dallas, Philly, etc - a winning team - it's easier to accept. But it's Detroit and Jared Goff. So, you have to figure out a W.

I have, and their offense has been horrible on the road. They did rally against the Bears, but the Beard D is putrid.
Our D at home shouldn't be giving up 30+ to Detroit - IMV.

There is no "narrative". Detroit's offense on the road has not been good this year.
He obviously didn't want to play here.

Jones is most likely gone with no playoffs. I think Schoen & Daboll will want to reset the entire offense.

But due to the talent on this team, every opponent is a tough matchup for them. So they can lose any game. There is no should win games this season.
