I am not writing off Thursday in Dallas. The Cowboys are kicking ass right now against the 8-1 Vikes, but maybe they're due for a letdown. We are coming off a bad, injury riddled loss vs. Detroit.
Stranger things have happened. We could win Thursday.
But let's be realists. Dallas wins.
Washington hosts ATL at home. The Falcons are no easy out, but WFT will be favorites. If we lose Thursday & WFT wins vs. Falcons...NYG 7-4. WFT 7-5.
I think the NFC East send 3 teams to The Dance. We would go a long way punching our ticket with a win Thursday or the 4th.
Hopefully Neal and Belly are back for WFT. I doubt Xavier is, but one can dream.
Just hope the Giants are healthy enough to be competitive in those games, giving themselves a chance to win. Today’s game was too reminiscent of the past decade.
But you are correct, that s when a play off push begins.
Those two games against WAS are going to decide the Giants season. 2-0, playoffs are pretty much guaranteed. 1-1, I think they still make it. 0-2 and they're probably cooked.
538 had the Giants at over an 80% chance of making the playoffs last week. Now at 51%.
I think both teams are fairly even. Giants should win at least one.
Washington’s passing attack with no secondary left?
And how will the Giants win when Washington has one sole focus: stop Saquon in his tracks?
Could happen. Hard to win with back-ups backing the back-ups who were in for back-ups.
To be fair, it's been all of two years.

December with play of implications. It s been a long time and it s what I wanted.
That s true, guess 6-10 made me forget

And we have no idea when McKinney's coming back, if at all
Then there's Moreau and Pinnock
Now Dex and Lawrence are starting to show the wear and tear of playing 90% of the snaps every week
Shhh... don't suggest that. People will get very angry at you.
How excited you are about making the playoffs? A little? We don't have much of a chance. I just don't want to play Philly. Getting smoked by them in the postseason would be miserable.
They are tough games too. Indy has good defense and if Taylor is healthy they can match Giants up evenly with a run attack on offense. Commanders have better overall and deeper roster except for QB and RB starters but Washington is also about three deep at RB and has about 4-5 playmakers on offense better than anything Giants have at TE or WR.
I worry about whether Barkley can hold up another 7 weeks.
I dunno... I have to use my imagination for the rest of the season with a starting line-up made from back-ups who are backing up the back-ups, and a secondary that is now on par with its WR unit. Can a team win games in the NFL when it can no longer pass the ball nor defend the pass?

Giants will get a mini-bye after the short week. Washington has not had their bye yet and should be completely gassed. Assuming the Giants go in on a 2 game losing streak, at home, desperate vs Washington...who should be tired looking ahead to their bye, I think the Giants will beat them at MetLife. Just a gut feeling. However, I don't like the matchup in DC in 2 weeks after that with the Commanders coming off a bye and the Giants coming off the Philly game.

No. Not in this era. As we've learned since OBJ was dealt.
Those two games will determine the final wild card spot.
