Giants down 12 points, 9 min left 4th quarter to Lions.
This was not a great game for the Giants but not unlike some other games we have played. If we don’t fumble, I think there is a good chance we score a TD with about 5 or 6 min left in the game to be down no more than 6 points with a chance.
The balls did not bounce our way. Giants did not play their best game. Injuries hurt, but this game was not that far away from looking like other games we have played this season.
A few bounces, not dropping interceptions and the game is right there. Also, big difference is the defense letting up touchdowns today instead of field goals but when you are missing X, Jackson, and more, that hurts.
Today was a missed opportunity, but not worth getting so down. This is who this team is this year. I still think we get into the playoffs, but expect more games going into the 4th where we have to come back. Enjoy it for what it is worth and maybe we get a few players back for the stretch run and we make a little noise, and maybe we don’t but I am enjoying the ride.
We are going to be up against the Dallas pass game without McKinney, Jackson and potentially Moreau (not sure about his ribs) among many other injuries including the OL going up the Dallas defensive front.
Ik it’s hard to be thankful at the moment, but given all the injuries since day 1 this season, including that guy now in KC, it’s amazing we got to 7Ws.
I too will still enjoy the ride.
