I was just wondering, and based ONLY on the lackluster play in the Lions game, does anyone believe Dabol might have lost the team a bit because of his rant against Anderson during the Texas game. I realize this is a remote possibility but would like to get some opinions. From what I saw on TV it looked pretty bad.
The answers no.
I gotta agree with you on that one. That was a bit weird to me and maybe intentional for the rest of the team.. Yes, the iNT to Hutchinson sucked but honestly, Hutchinson dropped off and Jones clearly never saw him. What stinks is if that pass made it past Hutchinson Slayton was streaking to the sideline, that could have gone for quite a gain.
The second Int on a 4th play to me was all on the coaches. That 3rd down call was complete bullshit even if you made up your mind before hand that you were going on 4th down.
The oline was not good at all yesterday but Barkley is getting a pass onw hat seemed like a 2021 version of his play. He turned his back at contact (and while slowed up completely) multiple times and his overall play lacked serious juice (maybe mentally fatigued and physically fatigued).
I think there is no chance he came close to losing anyone from that, and for crying out loud didn’t he even publicly say he regretted having done so, which is basically an apology? If anything he gained support
So no, he did not lose the team by doing his job.
Or...
the coach raised his voice at his players?
You must have hated Bill Parcells and Tom Coughlin.
Brightwell returns the KO's, why can't he return punts? I didn't like Daboll's answer of "it's football" and injuries can happen. Yes they can, on any play, but you don't put Jackson in that situation.

Some of the best return men inNFL history were star position players. Good coaches put their teams in the best position to win and don’t coach scared.
Had Brightwell ever even returned a punt in college or pros? It’s not the same as returning KO’s
Wife: "What is happening?"
I know Daboll apologized and said he was embarrassed, but there was nothing wrong with that tongue lashing.
Wife: "What is happening?"
This is the new breed of fan on this site. Probably several put calls into their therapists this morning to get in to talk about it. Ironically, the ones who should actually be reaching out to therapists probably won’t.

🤪
check
holy crap the world is filled with pansies
If you mean from a "they've tuned him out" perspective, nope.
Come on kickoff, you can’t really think this is a legit take
You should really delete before many more read the post
I like to call it the Howling Mob.

I've been a Giant fan for 40 years and certainly am old school. However, I felt that maybe the new generation player might have taken exception.
I'll be here all week long...make sure you tip the waitstaff

Heh. You just called the owner of the site, who’s been running it for almost 30 years, “a new breed of fan on this site”.

This may be the funniest post of the year! Calling out Eric a a "new breed of fan" SMFH
This legit made me laugh.
That's part of the weight of the job. You get the biggest money and the biggest share of the blame.
You'll find at most levels the coach is hardest on the QB as a point to show that there is no favoritism.

but I think he put too much on Jones in his post game presser. Imv he singled him out with a lot of other parts of the team not doing its job.

Any QB worth a salt understands this. I don't think the HC needs to single him out when there was plenty else to call out.
You want to emphasis "team" then you need to be consistent imv.
Idiotic answer to an idiotic post...
