Thibs gets a bad rap about not playing younger players but he will if they play well. He has with Quickly since he was a rookie, and of course Barrett always played and was the youngest on the team, but no better example than the minutes Sims is getting, and deservedly so.

Nobody is obsessing about up 14 with 2 minutes left but with 4 minutes left and they cut the lead to single digits on 3 straight drives when Randle is the 5 and supposed to be your help and watches them take it to the rim .
So Thibs needs to call a timeout and move Randle back to the 4 and put Sims at the 5 to stop the bleeding.

I own a damn Randle jersey I wish he could get his head right and play to the level that he can every night. He is very selfish and doesn't value winning over his own performance.
The Randle we saw in Denver is what he can be when he plays with passion and effort but he doesn't care enough to bring it every night.

is an absolute nightmare on defense, refuses to box out, and hustles when he feels like it. Even worse, Thibs enables this on a regular basis. Sends a bad message to the rest of the squad. How he gets 35-40 minutes a night is a mystery to me. I wish he would give effort for a couple of weeks in a row so the Knicks could trade his sorry ass. It's now a year plus a quarter of a season with this bullshit. Enough is enough.
The young guys played really well with minutes, Rose needs to make some moves after the 1st of the year.
From a positive Randle is having a decent offensive season and maybe someone will look past the other garbage and Thibs will let his son go.
I love D.Rose for what he has done here but move him to a championship contender even if it is only a 2nd he deserves the opportunity to be on a winner.
Fournier is a messy deal right now and he is a good ball player on the right team but he has to go soon it's a bad look from the Knicks for players looking to come here.

If we can pull back picks and development players I would be happy, this roster needs a big overhaul and needs an identity. IMO it needs to be a Brunson and RJ team and build support around that.
