NFT: UBS Arena Parking

Essex : 11/22/2022 9:43 am
I am going there tomorrow night. Never been before, I hear parking in the Emerald Lot is a nightmare with the shuttle, is that still the case? Also, are there other options in walking distance because I only really see the Emerald Lot being offered online.

Thanks In Advance

I am a Rangers fans, but friends of mine are meeting up there as a gathering while many are in town for Thanksgiving. I got to travel from NYC to get there, too. Going to be nasty getting out there with the Wed before Thanksgiving traffic.
I'd avoid the shuttle all-together and just walk over.

It's like a 10-12 minute walk to the arena, virtually all of it on the sidewalk alongside the race track. Far easier--and likely even quicker--than tracking down the shuttle waiting on line, getting on, driving over.

Very easy little walk and saves unnecessary agita.
It's really not bad at all

I've been a few times. Parked in Emerald and also Silver. Silver is obviously great because it's right there. I took the shuttles to the arena from Emerald and walked back to the lot after the game. You can jump directly onto the Cross Island from the Emerald lot so it was really easy getting out after the game. Even easier than Silver.

The negativity regarding the parking is massively overblown IMO.

I'll second this. Parked in Emerald a couple of times and the walk to and from is an easy 10 minutes. Exiting the lot was a piece of cake and puts you right on the Cross Island Parkway. I don't see a need to pay extra to park anywhere else.
