PFF gave Nick a low grade but if you watch the Bobby Skinner O line report on you tube, he rates Nick as a solid upgrade over
Feliciano. I like the Bobby Skinner report because he shows film and analyzes the foot work and hand placement of the players.
I watch every game hoping for a win regardless of draft position
( we lost the draft bowl and got Anthony Thomas). In addition what I am hoping to see in the remaining games is return to form of Gates and development of Neal, Ezudeu, Bredeson and Peart so that
cap space and draft will not have to focus on O line again.

The SL decision is interesting and I don't recall seeing too much on why the decision to start him was made. Was it because of Ezuedu's injury or did the staff feel he is the best option? I thought it was surprising to start him with so much time missed unless they felt he was clearly the best option.
The Giants lately are telegraphing (by design and formation) when they are running and this line (outside of late in the Jax game) has not shown they can just physically dominate you when you know what is coming.
What we need to do is become a bit more varied in attack even when using formations and groupings that scream one style (pass or run) only.
Gates at Center is ultimately where we need to do but, is he fully able to do it now? Might not have a choice regardless so hopefully he is ready and able to be the guy for a 60 min game.
AT-JE-NG-MG-EN is the preferred lineup but RT may be Peart or Phillips this week.
Based on this past game only (and I recognize that it was his first game back from an extended stretch of injuries), Lemieux needs to improve just to deserve a roster spot. He should be at the bottom of the OG depth chart right now, and I don't know if there's much reason to be confident that he'll deserve to climb the depth chart anytime soon: after all, he can't make his arms get longer.
If you watched Skinner's OL report, he pointed out a number of times that Lemieux's positioning and technique was perfectly fine, but his short arms allowed the opposing DL to ragdoll him anyway. That's not because of midseason form, IMO, at least not entirely. Besides, midseason form also comes with some midseason fatigue. Training camp form comes with fresh legs. I don't think Lemieux's issues on Sunday arose from technique or conditioning, but it would be more encouraging if they had.
You can fix technique a lot more easily than you can fix anatomy. I think there's a very real possibility that Lemieux will always just be a liability in pass pro because of his short arms.

And so will Lemieux. Hard to play against players that are in mid season form when you are in training camp form and condition.

Eh, I'd rather have the midseason form over training camp, the conditioning is still better even if slightly dinged up.
But yes, physical build is a big factor with short arms a big negative.
Ezeudu will be a VG OG. He is just such a physical player. I think they were hoping to give that neck a rest so he'd be neat 100% the rest of the season.
But if Lemieux is that bad, they can release him and move on.
How about backing that statement up with something. What is your reasoning? Personally, I find his Oline reports very informative.
Lemieux may ultimately stink, but I don’t think his dreadful performance against Detroit should weigh very heavily in the assessment. He shouldn’t have been in uniform, let alone starting. Maybe they should have played Anderson, or elevated Hamilton or Kinsley, and/or just rolled with Ezeudu once the medical staff cleared him. Regrettably, the tight cap situation may have been a factor.
As for Gates and the rest of the line, a reshuffle could be coming during the ten-day break if the unit flames out again tomorrow.
Ezeudu....
'A healthy Rich Seubert' was better than Jason Whittle, but that didn't matter much while Richie was rehabbing his leg in 2004-2005.
Is he really? Not following the Panthers...

Don’t know how close to 100% gates can get
But if we can count on him to be a younger, better version of JF in 2023. Find out now
I don’t think JF is bad, he is pretty good in run game. Pass pro not so good
Pretty much what I expected
Also wouldn’t mind seeing some BB at OC too
He may be an IOL starter next yr. I expected a bit more out of Glow.
