1st quarter, 1st possession....Giants play this game like they are down by 10 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.
For as horrible as this offense is trying to do this, try to stretch the field, get vertical as quickly as possible....
love to see screen after screen, using Barkley downfield as opposed to running on them, keep Brieda and the other guy in for runs.....send Barkley on routes all day long.....
gotta get to 2nd and short every single time, because 2nd and long is gonna be a killer....Giants can't run on 2nd and long......ever.....
Also, once the Giants approach the red zone, score from deep....it gets way too tight when only 5-10 yards out......must try at all costs to stretch the field, constantly....
OK, pile on BBI!
Happy Thanksgiving anyway!
RIP Daniel Jones
Thanks to all the injuries they are (again) badly overmatched personnel-wise, which has been the case almost every game this year. Their best bet continues to be trying to pound with the run game and hoping to work play action.
There's nothing else they can do. If they try to drop back and take deep shots with their OL and WRs vs. Parsons and this DAL pass rush, that's a losing strategy and the game will get out of hand quickly. IMO.
Gonna be hard with all the injuries to get anything done.
Saquon cant have the 17 carries for 25 yards line he had last week. If that happen, Giants are fucked. Giants need a clean game - minimize penalties and turnovers.
Need a big game from our special teams, especially the punting game. If the Giants can somehow, someway keep it to a one possession game going into the 4th quarter they can make it a game. The one advantage we may have is Daboll v. McCarthy.
Daniel may have a good day - or at least a better day if Parsons is slowed down.
Pounding the running game on first (and second down) will only leave obvious 3rd down passing situations. Dallas with then take advantage via their good pass rush and start jumping the typical short routes.
Passing on first might not be successful either but guarantee running won't with all eyes on Saquon in first half.
Could happen... ya never know. Would be great.
But maybe here's a more plausible scenario.
Dallas isn't fully awake when the game begins, and so the Giants are left hanging around until sometime into the 3rd quarter. Maybe the Giants even have a slight lead. But finally, Dallas wakes up, stretches, yawns and then swats the Giants away scoring 21 unanswered points.

Neal will be a game time decision. I bet he plays
I like it. That gives us 7.
What do we do to match their 35?
As in no three TE sets. Stretch the LoS to get the CBs and Safeties away from the interior line.
Whats Winks plan for the Dallas run game though? We've been getting abused and Dallas certainly abused us last time. Not even excited for this.
If the Giants win this it will be their greatest victory in the last decade.
