Tomorrow should be the game that you have been waiting for.
Dimes probably will have a horrible game, get sacked 10 times, probably fumble at least once after getting creamed, probably throw multiple interceptions under intense pressure, and most importantly, he will probably only lead the team to single digits on the scoreboard.
Sleep well fellows….your prayers are probably about to be answered.
Who really cares. The ones who have always been against him aren't going to change.
Saw the same thing with Eli starting in 2013 and that was for a two time SB MVP. One of the worst drafting teams in the league from 2008-17 and a few dopes found him the biggest problem.
Never - Anything close to an Alpha receiver
Anything close to multiple #2 receivers
Anything close to a sit back and survey field o-line
Without the above, it is impossible to know what DJ ceiling is. Going with Tyrod is an idiot's plan. None of the draft candidates (if we could even get to their spot) appear to have the ability to work with nothing. There can be no risk-free plan.
And we've all been complimentary and surprised by how well Jones has played, even if we all have misgivings about giving him a lucrative multi-year contract.
So for real -- who are the posters who are part of this secret cabal waiting in the wings, rooting for Jones to fail? Name a single poster you all believe is part of this group. It should be easy if it's such a ubiquitous sentiment on this site.
Lol.
But after rookie seasons that featured varying degrees of both success and inconsistencies, all five quarterbacks have encountered struggles in Year 2. As a result, their teams continue to wait for a return on their draft day investments, and it remains to be seen if any of the five will become transcendent players."

The draft is a crap shoot.
Lol.
WOOOOOOOOO!
I’m surprised he omitted Go Terps and Mike from Ohio. I would have definitely had both in the top 10.:
Lol.
It's an elite cadre of BBI mind readers. I'm nervous just posting here, for fear they'll tell Anthony Mejia it was really me who stole his Garfield pencil in the second grade.
Lol.
You’ve got the mental capacity of a flea with dementia so it’s not surprising that you aren’t quite capable of figuring anything out without having to be told the answer. You probably believe everything that comes out of every coaches mouth too…
If Daniel Jones played like a top 10 quarterback and the Giants could spend the offseason adding other pieces to the team everyone on this board would be ecstatic. It would be the best situation for the Giants to win the most games. Just because some people have the opinion that he’ll never be that and would rather move on than go for a 5th year of excuses and what ifs, doesn’t mean they root against the Giants or for his failure. I don’t care if I’m wrong on Daniel Jones, I’ve been wrong before. I thought Frank Ntilikina would develop into a very good NBA guard!
It’s a weird defense mechanism used by the Jones fans.
Like the old saying goes, opinions are like...
While he's here, the is the Giants QB, and I hope to fuck every time he plays he wins.
That is all !

A-hemmmm….he’s had this for 3.5 years….how much more adversity do you need? When can he have it “made in the shade.”

Maybe you missed the lesson on sarcasm in the 5th grade?

There are just as many vultures wearing "8" jerseys circling waiting to use one result or one stat to push their point that their evaluation is correct.
You don't want to hear anything bad, so anyone that doesn't follow is clearly "rooting for failure".
The problem with this argument is that both sides AREN’T equal. You SHOULD be supporting your team and your QB. That’s what normal fans do. I’ve discovered the giants fans are anything but normal.
Bingo….last week was a good example. Jones played hard all game…ran for a TD threw for one…had over 330 yards passing since he had to throw….but he basically made one bad pass with the score 24-6 and the vultures came out in full force.
Here is how I know someone is a VULTURE….pay attention….if the only thing a “fan” says about a player is TO FIND FAULT, and never-rarely shares the positive stuff in that player….they are a vulture.
Like I said, there was much positive from Jones last week. 330 yds with two drops, a dropped two point conversion and Two TDs….yet if all you want to talk about is that one play at 24-6….you are a VULTURE and don’t kid yourself because you are not kidding me…you want Jones to fail because for years you have bad mouthed him and believe he should be gone. Maybe he should be gone, but I believe it is still wrong to rejoice in his failure ESPECIALLY when you never to rarely praise him for the good things he does too. Saquon got 22 on 15 carries and I hardly heard a word of criticism his way.
F*** all the vultures out there, and you know who you are.
Don't ever refer to garbage numbers if you want to be taken seriously.
How many of those 300 yards impacted the game?

There's supporting the team, and being a homer, and everyone should know the difference.

Maybe it's because football is #2 to baseball for me, but I don't understand why we have to 100% be behind a player if we don't think they're that good. Like if this was Big Pinstripe Interactive would we have had posters saying to support Joey Gallo just because he's a Yankee and call anyone who didn't a fake fan?
Also, if you're accusing someone here of rooting for a Giants player to fail, I want to see some receipts or you can have a time out.

I don’t think any were garbage. His last pass was thrown with over 4 minutes to play. If they get the onside kick and score they are down 4. Besides, didn’t a team score 3 times in the last few minutes of a game this season?
But, if you want to call the last drive garbage, Jones had 70 yards on that drive.
341-70=271
But like I said, garbage time is when it’s all over. With 4-5 minutes left with timeouts, 2 minute warning and onside kick, you can’t say the game was over after they scored. You can say “they probably don’t win, 10% chance or thereabouts, but you can’t say there isn’t a chance.”
So, if you think that last drive was garbage, which began right after Lions scored a TD when the Giant player fumbled, which began with over 6 minutes left, then we just disagree. Believe what you want….

I believe it's sad that there are more "fans" rooting for his failure than something just clicking and him becoming a star.
Which is odd, because he has more heart than most who lace up on a weekly basis and from everything posted from media and coaches he's a genuinely great human being
Enough with this crap. Nobody wants him to fail.
Your either illiterate or fucking stupid if you don’t notice the DJ threads of people rooting for him to fail
DJ success = Giants success

STFU, dude. You're a fucking Bills fan.
Have your seeing-eye dog explain the game to you. What box does he check? Passing yards? No! Passing TDs? No! Being a QB a defense respects enough not to put 8-9 in the box? Nope! So, pretty much everything every REAL franchise QB does, Jones doesn't do.

I support the Giants. I even root for DJ in games. I just don't want the Giants to resign him...especially for more than $12-15 million.

You have to come to grips with the fact that being a scout or a GM isn't just watching Alabama play on CBS like everyone else.
