I know some are doom and gloom and others are "grow a pair" but the true nature of most of us is somewhere in the middle.
This game sucks on paper and the lead up as injuries piled up and the walking wounded became the 4077th right after Radar told people choppers incoming. It is all hands on deck to just field a starting Oline.
Do I think we should curl up in ball or forfeit the game? Hell no I don't.. I do think we have to accept (as fans) that we more than likely lose this game. Everything is lined up for Dallas to win this game and for us everything for 2022 is lined up for the last 6 weeks of the season. We have to keep perspective on the negative outcome of this game as it would just be a loss. It doesn't end our season, it doesn't spell doom and it means nothing about our new staff, new management or even our QB, RB etc..
Now, if we win that is a different animal. That takes us from just win two or three of our last six to what can we do if we win three or four games...The positive of a win is far greater than the negative of a loss as we are expected to lose!
Take everything in but hold nothing in, hold no negative energy.. We are watching a Giants team with a 7-3 record , more wins than they have had in a season since 2016.. We have a head coach, a GM and cap space and draft picks this coming off season. This is the first year we have been looking to the off-season not because the current season sucks but because we are that close and this off-season we can make a big jump back to glory!!!
Enjoy your day, enjoy seeing our Gmen on Thanksgiving regardless of outcome and know the sprint to the finish truly begins next Sunday!
