Hopefully I am allowed to start this thread. Many issues with the team again. Between an anemic offense and a defense giving up big plays, you cannot beat a good team. However, overlay officiating that is criminal, you have no chance.
That said, I also think the coaches had another bad game. Two stinkers in a row for our coaches on both offense and defense.

But today he wasn’t good. Game was there for the taking. Also think the giants played the 2 min drive before halftime very soft.
Most of the board seemed to acknowledge when Jones played well this year. Will the same happen for an obviously bad game?
How'd you have felt had the first TD hadn't been called back by a bullshit penalty?
Phillips was downfield illegally. It didn’t impact the play, and there were plenty of other bullshit calls this game, but that wasn’t one of them.
And my view would not drastically change on one play. I evaluate the game in whole, not on a single play. Jones left several critical plays on the field today. We may have lost anyway, but he didn’t play well at all.
He sucked today. And I think he’s done his part this year but he Sucked today
It felt like a desperate move and even though they made the correct call...and DJ/SB could not execute it..
I still like pinning them deep and playing D better than going for it...
They played well and were in the game until the 4th quarter.
The defense held strong today against an offense that has been on fire with once again 3rd string CB's
Coaching game plan was well put together and Jones played smart.
They were keying on Barkley.
Wink is going to drive you crazy in games but I will tell you he hit Prescott alot today and forced him off his spot more than once.
I am not sure most of understand how limited this team is talentwise. We had 7 practice squad players on offense today .
Defense did their part for as long as they could. Horrible awareness to allow the td on 3rd and goal from about the 15 though on the one drive

That's wink he sent the house and put everyone on an island, they didn't get home.
We were sick of the bend don't break zone, everyone knew what you were getting and he makes no apologies.
They don’t even have him running anything other than picks. It’s wild how little they think of him. I figured he would get a real shot today.
Execution was awful as well, but I get that we're fielding a bunch of players who have no business on an NFL field.
Good handle, LOL

They had to overcome. Olsen nailed. The 4th and 1 miss changed the game. I imagine BD went for it knowing it could get out of hand. Dallas had a 14 play drive the previous drive for a TD.
Regroup and let’s hope they get some guys back. Nice effort by Thibs today.
The play was there. The ball was low and behind the receiver.
Yes. I agreed with Olsen. He still should have caught it but t Olsen though a better throw he may have scored.

Defense was gassed. Daboll knew they needed that to win. Players failed not coaching

Expectations are very high on this board. How would they like to be a Dallas fan who haven’t sniffed a NFC championship game in over 25 years?
The second half they ran it, their OL asserted itself, and they made the plays.
Dabes pushed the panic button in the 3rd. I didn’t like the call then but it probably doesn’t change the outcome.
We were trotting out backups all over the place. McFadden, Belton, McCloud, Flott, against their WRs and TEs. Our LBs vs their OL and RBs.
Funny that SB and DJ look crappy like before when our OL got hurt all over the place, huh? It’s almost like there’s a relationship there…
Lmao
I didn't have a problem with the pace at the end of the game. The goal was to score under 3 minutes and before the 2 minute warning.
If you play it out, it goes like this...
Score a TD with 2:45 left in the game. You have 2 timeouts left plus the 2 minute warning.
Dallas gets the ball with 2:45 left
After Dallas 1st down play, call timeout
After their 2nd down play, call timeout
Stop them on 3rd...2 minute warning
They punt and we get the ball, down 8, with 1:50 left, no timeouts
That's how it was supposed to play out. That's why they weren't rushing
It worked because the whole dallas D keyed on Barkley and ran past him, it was 2 trick plays.
It felt like a desperate move and even though they made the correct call...and DJ/SB could not execute it..

Pin them deep? The Scottish Hammer probably punts it into the endzone, as usual.
Cut him for what? He's not disgruntled. He isn't a problem in the locker room. He does block well when he's in the game
He gives you a little something here and there.
Quote:
He's a waste of space on the roster, and he has no future with this team. Cut him now, pay off what they owe him and move on.

Not to mention it’s like 7 minutes left in the game and daboll is running in a jumbo package like they’re ahead or something. And jones is Passing to running backs. If you’re not going to sling it inthat situation well then??
You’re blaming golliday for that? No one sucks that bad it’s all or nothing at that point. I have no idea what daboll is thinking but he doesn’t want to risk a pick 6 and humiliation
I think he costs too much to cut. He's the gift that keeps on taking.
I did. That was awful. I just do not understand Kafka's play calling sometimes.
That’s exactly what you’re doing because Jones sucks but you like him.
I saw dak roll out of trouble and sling a dime to cd lamb who made an excellent arch but the throw was there. If it were jones it would have behind him ; an interception that would have been called back on a penalty. Or just not accurate throw.

If we cut him now we have to cut another player also

Thibs has to make that sack on the start of the 2nd half. To whiff on Dak right there was brutal and they would have gotten the ball right there.
Dak was just throwing balls in CeeDee Lamb's direction every 3rd and long. Maybe if Jones had a CeeDee Lamb he could have done better.

I thought thibs’ missed sack was in the 1st half
The Washington game is crucial to the Giants if they want to make any noise the rest of the season. A loss and my attention will turn to who they might draft in 2023. Something I'm not ready to do.

Opening drive of the 2nd half - 1st series. They had three opportunities on 3rd and long to stop that drive.

Really think we need a speedy hard hitting LB in the middle to complete the defense.

More than one. I think those runs up the middle are because the ILB are just bad or out of position.
Also, Daboll was really pissed in press conference.
For a franchise that had Harry Carson and LT, that needs to be improved.
Also, Daboll was really pissed in press conference.
Also AT was also playing with different guys in Anderson and Gates next to him. OL cohesion is a thing too.
What was Daboll pissed about in the press conference? My guess is the officials.

Thomas had a tough assignment with no help if he was 100% healthy.
But this wasn't a 30-3 wipeout that could have caused real confidence issues.
He's wasn't happy with the refs!

Nick Gates said Micah Parsons "full-on punched" him in the chin on the late unnecessary roughness penalty. "I'm surprised he didn't get ejected, but New York said it was open-handed. He'll get (fined) tomorrow. He must not like his money."

Kayvon Thibodeaux played 21 pass rush snaps & generated pressure on 38.1% of them.
Among players w/ 20-plus PR snaps in a game, this was 3rd-best performance of the year.
Baron Browning, Week 5: 20 PR snaps, 10 prsrs (50%)
Za'Darius Smith, Week 9: 23 PR snaps, 9 prsrs (39.1%)
