there is no way you dedicate any big money/future contracts to either Daniel Jones or Saquon Barkley.
Barkley played like a complete pussy, especially in the second half. Give me Brightwell and Bredia all day over this fairy two stepper who is afraid to finish off a run.
Jones was a deer in headlights, again, and seemed hesitant to run, again, this week when the opportunity presented itself.
7 wins is a façade. Time to let these guys go and rebuild for real.
This guy has been pretty much great all year. But he's a fairy whatever
so he's always injured then? makes sense to devote a lot of money to an guy who is always injured at a not very valuable position
Can’t pay a player premium guarantees when you can’t play full season.
RBs should always be on their first contact
This was 2 weeks in row that he didn’t seem 100%. I really wish they would pickup on that and use Brieda more. Even Brightwell looked pretty good today.

so saying no without even knowing what the number is makes no sense.

I love absolutes.

If Saquon is dealing with injuries right now. Personally, I think he is hurting right now.

Nice guys though!!!
You sure about that?
Agree with you 100%. Also agree with OP 100% about saquon. That’s the issue with big money RBs. Injured too much. Give me a stable of backs like we had when we won titles. Can’t pay a back 8 figs a season in todays NFL.
Jones is a different story. I think he’s been far better than given credit for this season considering how shot the skill position players are. I think he can be very good with real NFL talent around him. That said, i defer entirely to Daboll and Schoen as they obviously know what they’re doing. I just hope the fucking maras let them make football decisions.

the question is do you always love them?
He was playing with a shocker under his shoulder pads so I’d def say he’s dealing with an injured shoulder. You could see it.

Brightwell runs between the tackles better than saquon or brieda. He’s a keeper.
And as was mentioned on the telecast, the bad throw by Jones (to Barkley) on 4th down was one of the turning points of the game.
Neither of our 2 offensive "stars" showed up today.
you franchise Barkley, you let Jones walk and try to draft both their replacements in April.
He’s a pending free agent. “Not the issue” isn’t really the point. The point is are you going to invest big and resign him.
Lose the insults. Especially after everyone was nice to you with your wedding thread.
Idk. The OP is right.. now that Barkley made his mark for the year to cash in on 15 mill a year - he took his pedal off the gas. I dont find him as a hungry/team guy based on interviews and he does play like a total pussy
This. Im fine with letting either/both walk. Also fine bringing either/both back at the right price. Neither are worthy of anything close to top of the market with significant guaranteed money.
So where’s the middle ground? I have no idea but not even entertaining it is ridiculous.

sad part is he will get his money because GMs never learn from the their mistakes. lets just hope it isn't from us

Know for sure you are utterly clueless.
Bill - I smoked a turkey in my PBC today and it was fantastic. Super juicy. Was a big hit.
how long did you smoke for? My PBC usually runs 3.5 hrs for a 12-15 lb bird

Jones isn't the issue right now but I don't expect your monkey ass to realize that. Put down the chardonnay and go to bed you half wit. That box of wine will keep until your hangover fades after the mimosa filled brunch. Dick.

He’s always been a fucking asshole. Good luck to the new wife!
Such a stupid analysis and the fact that you felt inclined to start a new thread to announce how stupid you are makes it even worse.
If it is injury that is a good reason not to throw big money at him.

This made me laugh.
Good job!

Kinda makes him injury prone? I don’t know he’s not able to elevate the team
SB and DJ have come back to earth mostly since the OL has been mix and match again, and since Bellinger went out, too.
That’s not a coincidence.
One DT for the Lions had 10 QB pressures last game. 1 DT…10 fing pressures!
Couple that with DJ playing with dogshit and he’s in a no win situation. They key SB and rush DJ not worried about our WRs and TEs.
Dak threw 2 picks and was off on a lot of throws. But he’s bailed out by WRs, OL, and a running game. DJ has to be perfect on every throw and while getting crushed waiting for Sills and James to try to get open.
Saquon gets hurt all the time. That is one of his biggest problems. I could see franchising him one time but please no long-term contract.
The franchise for 1 year, as a RB, is a good deal
I don’t think you need to get through the whole season to have a pretty good idea of what you have
