Why were we taking forever to get plays off on the 2nd to last drive. Down 2 scores and we are in zero hurry. What am I missing? Inexperience on the o’line?
I have been seeing one of these two penalties on the offense kill good plays all year and yet we continue to make the same mistakes. This game was the illegal man down field. Other games, offensive pass interference has also robbed us of plays. And it’s not pushing off, it’s illegal pick plays. These two penalties have killed us this year and so many have resulted in plays being called back. Gotta fix this coach!
Good note, please put the “where’s KT” on the edge questions away! Great game from him!
How about the 4th and 1 that Barkley dropped? They had 10 guys on the field.
Then for the 2nd week in a row, down 2 scores, they’re running the ball and huddling up after every play with 7 minutes left in the game. Let’s also not forget the drive before the half where instead of trying to go down for a TD, they let the clock run down and settle for a FG.
The coaching has been atrocious for the past 2 games. Hope it doesn’t become a trend.
And yeah, that was bizarrely slow in the 4th quarter.
Really? The plays at the end of the 1st half and then with 7 minutes left in the game where terrible. No doubt the coaching has been 100x better than we have had in 7 years. But the offensive play calling in the 1st half of almost every game is too conservative(today was VG until the last 1:50). Then what they were doing in the last half of he 4th quarter down by two scores was bizarre.
No you really don’t. You have to be a complete homer jock hugger to issue that statement. The coaching staff has had a great year to date. Last 2 weeks, not so much. Not sure how you can excuse the fact that they had 10 men on the field on the biggest play of the game.

We started the season playing up tempo, no huddle often….the only explanation I can think of for not having a sense of urgency is that maybe Dabs could see his defense wasn’t going to stop the Vowboys in the 2nd half…the players were now exposed, Dallas figured out what to do- run it down their throats firstly, abuse Holmes secondly.
So maybe coach just wanted to keep his D off the field and rest them up.
For real Xavier really let everyone down. And the posters en mass forgave him. All while having their favorite whipping boy on deck. Hate to break it to everyone but McKinney deserves the same hate toney has gotten all year. 7-2 and the signal caller gets drunk and breaks his hand on the bye week.
Make no mistake that’s what it was
BS. Daboll was pissed at how slow they were to the line.

In no hurry because if we went faster and passed more we get DJ killed, and if we put the D out there more all the Dallas TEs all get into the hall of fame 1st ballot.

I think Kafka was slow getting the play in. They showed him in the booth calling the play and I think the clock was already down to near cut off time.
Like where are your 3-4 WRs formations ? I know Golladay is a bust or whatever but, starts in a game and gets 30 % of the snaps and is no where to be found in the last 7 min. of the game. Come on. Bust ot no bust -- put your wideouts on the field -- at least 3 of them -- and start throwing .
They should have been spiking the ball and not running so many run plays. It was 2 losses in a row with terrible game management at the end.
