Not sure if we are all just overly attuned to it now here in NY thanks to the Jets but the Giants locker room seemed to be brimming with accountability and guys practically jumping over each other to pin the loss on themselves.

Hmmm, not sure I want a team full of guys who think they are the reason we lost. We were out manned but, we didn't make plays when we could have.
I know the Jones debate will continue on but it is the Barkley debate I care about. There is zero way we should pay top $ to a RB and especially one with SB's injury history and his lack of full realizing the "potential" he supposedly has. I can't give $ to a RB who falls down a lot, is not a great pass catcher and is just waiting for his next injury..
I am still hopeful for this season but a loss to Washington will have me thinking ahead to FA and the draft.

The Giants had 7 starters vs. Cowboys on Thanksgiving that were either waiver claims or street free agents during this season.
WR Isaiah Hodgins
TE Lawrence Cager
RT Tyre Phillips
LG Jack Anderson
LB Jaylen Smith
CB Nick McCloud
S Jason Pinnock

All RBs get injuries - it is the nature of the beast. He had an ACL and high ankle sprain... not uncommon with RBs He does have the shoulder which I think is greatly affecting him.
But I agree on the drops and trips. I said yesterday that perhaps he is wearing the wrong shoes because he seems to catch the front cleat on the ground often or perhaps he is just fatigued and dragging his feet???

You don't like Barkley, we all get it. Thread after thread
All you need to do to Giants is stuff the running game. After that Jones has to scan zone defenses, which he bails on. Then he runs. Rinse and repeat. If the O-Line is hurt, Jones doesn't have all day and his WRs cannot separate from CBs. Occasionally Slayton will come down with a clutch catch. Blaming Saquon is silly. These are the hardest teams to play. The Lions are the hottest team offensively. Dallas is just better.Detroit is the only team we lost to that is marginal, and they gave Buffalo hell yesterday. I really don't expect much with this roster and Daboll making some sour beer out of lemons.

This was yet another game where the playing calling was suspect. With 8 or 9 guys in the box to stop Barkley perhaps the Giants could have gone to a short passing game to make the back up. Teams are going to gear up to stop Barkley, the Giants need to do something to counter the stacked box.
