I was on the thread yesterday for the first time in forever.
I feel like i lost IQ reading some of the comments.
Is it always like this?
Do these people function in society?
Is there an overlap between regular posters and game thread people?
If yes do we just ignore there sins during the week?
If no do they just come out on game day and expose there stupidity to the internet?
Is it trolls?
I need answers
Maybe we need a best of the game thread posts to shame some people.
Sometimes even the post game thread is startling...
And there’s also the agenda posts with every play (I told you X sucks/was great)
What is more baffling than some of those idiotic statements are the people who, week after week, expect some sort of detached, critical analysis of the game with well thought out discussions.
The game threads are garbage dumps of emotion. Why people stroll into them each week and expect it to be a lovely stroll in the meadow are the dumbest posts on this site.

I am not expecting critical analysis but fuck some of the down right stupid negativity in there really makes you wonder why people watch the team in the first place and take the time to post there thoughts on the internet.

This. I never understood the game threads outrage. Maybe those who are outraged are more casual fans, idk. In real time people say stupid shit. We are all fanatical Giant fans.

Not everyone is a “go team” fan. Fans are emotionally invested in the team and get pissed off when things go badly. Not sure why people posting negatively on a team massage board when the team is getting beaten is surprising to anyone.
And the tenor of those game threads are the same every week. Even if the Giants are up by 20 in the fourth qtr someone is going to lose their shit about dropped pass or illegal motion penalty. It is what the threads are. Expecting them to be something else is silly.
I guess it's for comic relief, but I can find a thousand things to do that would be a better use of time.
