Don't they usually play the Lions? NY is a little bigger media market than Detroit.

No they don’t.

Both the Lions and Dallas play games on Thanksgiving and for as long as I can remember both play at home. I don’t remember them ever playing each other on Thanksgiving.

Which is why you and every single despicable Dallas fan on the planet cheers for them. You weren’t mentally strong enough to make your own choice so you just hopped on the popularity bandwagon. Cowboys fans are such a fraudulent disgrace.

Those numbers are not just Dallas fans. That's all the other fan bases who root against Dallas also.

Here is an example. I was in southern California when there was no team in LA. I went to the sports bar to watch all the games like I always do. Dallas was playing Cleveland that week. Every fan base was rooting for their team, but against Dallas. Without fail. I've had the same experience when visiting Denver and Tampa. Every fan base, it didn't matter, rooted against Dallas.

This is why Dallas is the cash cow of the NFL. They elicit a response from ALL fans, not just Dallas. I'm sure if I'm in Jacksonville, or any small market, no one is going to be rooting against the Giants, unless they bet the game.

That's what makes Dallas Americas Team, because every fan base cares if they win or lose every week.

P.S. I've been a fan since Dandy Don was the QB, hardly a bandwagon fan.

Having the Giants and Cowboys

matchup with winning records on Thanksgiving is a big bonanza for the NFL. NFC east is 4 storied franchises in huge markets and intense rivalries. When the NFC east is doing well it is very good for the NFL.

The end.

This is why the Giants had so many primetime games years into this recent run of suck.

Because if the Giants are winning, more neutrals seem to care.

Washington too, but they've been so bad, for so long. Snydered.
