Did you guys see this? I hope we meet them in the playoffs and Thomas shuts him down. Either way it will be fun to watch these guys battle over the years to come. Micah Parsons trolls Andrew Thomas - ( New Window )
can turn things around one way. The need to return to winning the LOS. Until this happens in the NFCE not much will change though we have some pieces.
I am not worried about what Parson said. I am more concerned that JS has identified the most critical aspect of the team that still needs more addressing. The same one the Giants have been trying to fix for over a decade.
This one went back'n forth over the years so give this one some time.
I think they are pretty good friends and had great respect for each other. He attended Strahan's HOF induction and MS said some nice words regarding how he made him a better player.
they had this show called Playbook where they would breakdown film and matchups. Runyan was on one time. I though he did a good job. He mentioned going against Strahan. It was funny. He said he could win 95% of the time but if Strahan got 1 sack then they would all talk about how great Strahan was and how he got the better of him. Haha.
Jones stepped up into the pocket and was caught from behind Jones should have thrown that one away. Thomas pushed Parsons past Jones there was not more he could have done.
Also when the interior line does not hold the point of attack than the outside rush is more likely to succeed. We are still not stout enough on the interior line after 10 years.
Can we please draft some 330 pound guards who can hold the point of attack.
it's just football. listen to all the crap Dex talks during a game.
But to keep it real - he is ranked about 99th in total tackles. Dallas uses him wisely and efficiently. But, has he consistently been every down terror....not yet at least
PFF graded Thomas a 96.2% for pass-blocking efficiency. They have him giving up one sack, two hurries, and three pressures on the QB.
I saw AT stone Parsons on several snaps.
He gave up two and was beat on another that Jones just got the ball out one. He was beat on the speed rush around the outside.
Don't know what PFF saw.

AT was beaten badly on the sack with about 4 minutes left in the game. I saw 1 or 2 possible holds but none blatant. The first "sack", DJ steps up in the pocket and that's when Parsons gets DJ. He gave up the initial pressure and then DJ tries to run. PFF didn't put that on AT. Looking at the tape isn't as bad as some say on here. You be the judge by watching it. AT/Parson - ( New Window )
A player, a guy who is actually playing in the game to brag about his play against the Giants. That just bristles us. But it's taken for granted that we are making the playoffs, by only the humblest and best of people. If we lose at hie against Washington, you better pray we don't lose the rest of our games. Now go ahead and tell me to go cheer for Dallas or some of the usual remarks. Stop concerning yourselves over players talking smack. Start getting ready for the game of the season. Forger about who is not playing. It's time to win this ballgame, and we are not tge better team right now. But we must find a way.
And he was responsible for a few more wins and Gettleman and Judge got to keep their job because of it.
As much as we want to go back and change things or be upset about things, if you like Daboll and Schoen, you can’t change anything that happened and expect we would have what we have now.
Unfortunately he can brag now.
and we know the rest of the story.
history kick you..

Beating the Cowboys in the playoffs would make this the sweetest non-Super Bowl winning season since there's been a Super Bowl.
Gotta agree. And it's very difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season.
This is a false statement that always gets regurgitated.

Chalk it up to 2-1 AT.

This is a guy who did some deeply troubling shit to his own teammates in the PSU locker room, not sure animosity is a pre-req.
Unfortunately he can brag now.
Just wondering, what did Parsons say about Thomas after he had a grand total of one tackle in the September game?
But to keep it real - he is ranked about 99th in total tackles. Dallas uses him wisely and efficiently. But, has he consistently been every down terror....not yet at least
Being able to split with Philly & Dallas would not only be nice but it’s almost a requirement to be competitive in the NFCE
Then these comments from guys like Parsons can just be sour grapes.
can be a flaming "you know what," but he along with the Dallas Cowboys own the Giants lock, stock and barrel.
Maybe when the Giants show they can beat the Cowboys, Micah Parsons won't flap his month so much.

And I posted to his Twitter telling him so.
Screw him.
PS Gettleman was the "Eddie Mush" of NFL GM's
