I don’t know much and can’t confirm, but there is video making rounds now and airport passengers accusing Odell Beckham of unruly behavior on a flight that had to deboard

Forcing us off the plane because you were unresponsive and unruly is not comedy to the hundreds of folks trying to get home dude. Not cool man.

No you wouldn't. And I doubt you would be passed out.
Most people would put on their seatbelt and the flight would take place.
Beckham probably not understanding the situation and how it looked for other people likely argued to stay on the plane once medical staff and police showed up. I'm sure he said that he was fine, and just tired - but at the end of the day he's responsible for following the airline rules and shouldn't expect special treatment.
But again, there's no indication as of yet that he was being belligerent towards flight crew or that he even verbally refused to put on his seat belt.

It's kinda obvious he took am ambien for the long flight
But it's OBJ so let the negative opinions fly
Drama follows the guy whereever he goes.
I wouldn't call this situation "drama"
Dude took an ambien and is out of it. Attendant tries to wake him up so that he can fasten his belt, but he's out of it. Pilot lands the plane cause they are concerned for his health.
From what I read, that's all that happened
But regardless, I still want him to sign here.
Exccept, maybe, if you are one of the hundreds forced to have your travel plans disrupted and forced to de-board, be delayed, and miss whatever you had planned. But hey, it probably wasn't as important as Odells sleep.
I'm sure the kids and people witnessing the police and firetrucks and ambulances likewise concur it was a low drama scene.
I'm glad you cleared it up for us that it was only the fact he had taken a sedative hypnotic called ambien that caused all this.
BTW, where did you first learn this was caused by the sedative-hypnotic class drug called Ambien?, I didn't see it in any reports anywhere. Or did you just pull that out of your ass? Is there anything else up there?
He didn't do ANYTHING wrong.
Except REFUSE to put on his seatbelt ( note he wasn't unconcious, he out and out refused). THEN he slipped back out of consciousness. Why should he have to put on his seatbelt. Didn't they know he had a special exception cuz Odell? He's fucking special, dontha' know.
Then, he REFUSED to depart the plane( note at that point he wasn't unconcious, he just refused), UNTIL EVERYONE ELSE was forced off, and only THEN did he leave.
But he did nothing wrong.
Exzcuse me for thinking this man is the same nasccisisstic asshole he always was, that NEVER see's his own faults, and is a perpetual victim.
Fuck him. Making excuses for him is what turned him into an asshole in the first place. Let him get stoned in Dallas.
Absolute idiocy on here.
For a guy was passing in and out of consciousness just a short time before

This 100% but that's media now. Instant emotion everyone had a camera
For a guy was passing in and out of consciousness just a short time before
ummmm.....that's a good point lol

That could be...ambien does weird things to people. But IIRC, you need to have 8 hrs of inactivity to be able to use it correctly.
He was flying Miami to LA, so if he took it he probably timed it by taking it right before he boarded to be knocked out for the 6 hours in the air.
I feel bad for the other people on that flight who had to be delayed, but this might be a bit of an overblown story. Flight crew did the right thing looking out for his safety, but I'd wager that he's done this sort thing before with most flight crews looking the other way.
Absolute idiocy on here.
The story is out.
That's a pretty advanced concept, you can understand why some here are having so much trouble grasping it.

They thought he was possibly sick and would get worse so they had him removed . - ( New Window )
Beat me to it.
I wonder if they really thought he might be "sick," or thought he was too drunk/stoned to comply with safety instructions in an emergency. Both are legitimate concerns.
Yea, but he doesn’t appear he was acting like an asshole either
They weren't making requests of an unconscious man. When he WAS conscious, he REFUSED. But hey, it's cool cuz Odell. it's wrong for everyone else in the fucking country, but not Odell.
" accused of" by who, that doesn't "seem" that way to you????
What accusation is disturbing you, that you find Unjust?

That isn't all that happened. When police and fire responded to a possible medical emergency, they asked him to get off the plane, and he refused. Until eventually, they had to get everyone else off the plane first.
So like I said, drama follows the guy wherever he goes. Just get on a airplane without it becoming news. It's not hard.
Just say you don't like OBJ dude
Unfortunate he didn't do that.
Absolute idiocy on here.

Accusation? What was he

What the fuck are you so mad about?

pretty sure this is exactly what happened. He took it a little too early. i've seen it more than once on flights.
[i]“The overzealous flight attendant insisted on removing everyone from the plane instead of simply allowing Mr. Beckham to fasten his seatbelt and proceed with the flight. At no time was Mr. Beckham disruptive or combative. He was willing to comply with the seatbelt requirement, but the flight attendant wanted to prove that he had the authority to have Mr. Beckham removed from the flight. The airline proceeded to send Mr. Beckham’s luggage to Los Angeles without him.
“That incident was unnecessary. Sleeping on a plane should not be a cause for removal from a flight. If they could wake him up when the flight returned to the gate, then they could have done the same thing to ask him to put on his seatbelt.”
He wasn't broken (two tears of the same ACL).
We have a broken multimillionaire already (Gollady); no cigar Odell, but thanks for the memories.

Some of you have crybaby syndrome. What did OBJ do to you that hurt you so much. Never see a bunch of adults root for someone’s failure
Root for? no , we OBSERRVED it. No one ROOTED for it. fucking drama queen you are. Poor Odell bullshit crows. Pfffffttt...
Wah, Wah. Shut up bitch

That's best case IF you accept he had no interaction before that. Thgat he didn't refuse to put his seatbelt on, and was unconscious the whole time that he CLAIMS he was sleeping with a blanket he pulled over his head. He still forced the everyone else to deplane, knowingly. Sure sounds like the same old nasrcissist to me.
Remind me again why anyone thought he changed? Was there somewhere along the way where he accepted any responsibility for anything? I don't think there was. It's always someone else's fault.
His lawyer staetement doesn't even contradict this.
Anyone else would have been arrested.
This sounds like a built in excuse and wouldn’t be surprised if he took a Xanax bar more likely. Lots of these Ambien stories were when they realized the were giving 10mgs as a standard and not everyone can handle that (it’s extremely weight dependent) or people thinking they weren’t working and take more than a 10mg dose (been there and it can absolutely make you do some wild shit).
The last thing this team needs before its most important game in years is this type of distraction.
Eric and the rest of BBI, it's time to be true to yourselves and admit your obsession with OBJ is even stronger than your undying fan crush on Taylor Swift...
I hate when that happens

Anyone else would have been arrested.
Anyone who felt they were being mistreated and unreasonable asked to leave the plane, would make a stink about it for at least 20mins.
That's a standalone statement and does not show support or opinion one way or another about Odell's particular situation.
This BS is exactly why he wore out his welcome the first time. He is a self absorbed P.O.S.. Nothing has changed and nothing ever will with this guy.
