With Dallas likely sitting pretty in that 5 seed playing at the ugly NFC South winner.
NYG- Was, Philly, @Was, @ Vikings, Colts, @Philly
Was- @NYG, NYG, @49ers, Browns, Cowboys
Seattle- @Rams, Panthers, 49ers, @KC, Jets, Rams
My reaction when I look at these schedules is this. NYG will have its work cut out, but their destiny is in their own hands in that if they can take 2 from Wash they can put a stranglehold on one of those spots. Root for the 49ers down the stretch here. They can really help us out. What is Stafford’s injury status? We can really use him starting next week.
Getting the 7 seed might actually be more advantageous by the way. I have a hunch the 7 seed is going to Minnesota while the 6 seed might have the toughest opening draw (especially if it’s Wash or NYG going cross country to play the 49ers).
that's messed up
that's messed up
Thats how the schedule worked out. They've had to play a lot of games getting banged up to get to their bye.
Put up or shut up for Daniel Jones.
This.
Get to 8 this Sunday, get healthy going forward,
Stafford got food poisoning from eating all that Little Ceasers pizza
I suppose you’re not wrong. I just think the 49ers are closer to the top of the conference than the bottom. I think they’re going to take control of the NFC West.

Seattle has head to head win over us. Isn’t it better for them to win their division so we’re not competing against them for WC?

Niners are closer to the two seed then a WC team. I think there is a good chance they are two seed and Minnesota 3 seed. Minnesota cannot play D, I see them dropping a few down the stretch.
Time for Jones and Barkley to come up big or go home and play for someone else next year.
Then you'd have to compete with the Niners.
I think right now it is a two team race to the last playoff spot - between Washington and the Giants.

A lot depends on whether Stafford is shut down for the season.

I also wouldn’t discount the JETs winning in Seattle either. The JETs have a very good defense this year and it appears that White might be a better QB right now then Wilson. And so Seattle also doesn’t have an easy road.
IMO, Washington looks like the best of the three right now. Lastly there’s also a very big chance that three teams from the NFC East could be Wild Cards. That would be a first I believe.
With the loss of Cooper Kupp and now Allen Robinson, plus Higbee has a knee injury also that's the top three receiving threats gone. Plus a banged up online, and horrible record, you could go on. LA is done.
The Rams will probably pack it in and sit Stafford the remainder of the year.
Would be, but only because they now let 7 teams in. Second year for that I believe.
Before that, only could have 2 wild card teams (and four division winners).
