Hi all-
Someone mentioned (and a few agreed) that in the BBI Game Reviews - they skip the game recap and move right to the player analysis.
To be blunt with myself - I know I am more of a scout that is trying to write. I am not a writer that is trying to scout. Professional journalists are much better at that than I am. Completely aware of that.
Personally - writing the game recap is a time/word suck (give or take 1,200 words) and I could switch the format up if you (and Eric) agree it would be better content for you to read. Here are 3 options and any opinions would be welcomed. I have thick skin - you can be real.
A) Keep it as is.
B) Take away Game Recap - add a bit more to Player Analysis
C) Instead of a Game Recap - write the 3 most influential / turning points of the game. This mayget dicey and cause unnecessary disagreements / fights - but maybe could add more discussion.
I am all ears, thanks.
So B or C works for me.
THANK YOU, SY!

Thank you for all you do!
Thanks for all the hard work, I appreciate your content!
“The player analysis is what I'm looking for.” And I agree.
IF the Game Review is a chore and the player evaluations come more easily, I’d clearly vote for “B” as the detailed player evaluations are a more rare and insightful group of content than the game review.
As others have said, your contributions both in season and off season are among the top “reasons to visit BBI”. Keep up the great work.

Teach us.
Give us a few plays to look at on the All 22 each week related to the extra analysis.
Yes, I am asking for homework.
Love your reviews!

Also, your piece is what I look forward to most each week. Your insights are most appreciated.
If the recap is drudgery for you, drop it. Eric already does that write up.
(the game summary is probably good for those that didn't watch it but I'm guessing most here watch it live)
OR
Take a more in-depth look at one position group that played very well or very badly that game.
Player analysis, thoughts on the opponents and the Jints - all great stuff. Thanks for all your contributions to the site, really makes it worthwhile for me.
