I've been to dozens of shows where an old band plays their new music/album and it totally kills the show. Fans want to hear the hits and music they are famous for. Nobody cares about the new album or the stuff they wrote dring covid.
Wow, I think I'm more interested Pantera although that's a bit weird without Vinnie and Dimebag. Had no idea they reformed.
Zakk Wylde playing guitar for Dime. No it's not original but I bet it still will be a hell of a show.
Metallica famously tends to play a lot of the older shit bc they know what fans want. But plenty of fans still follow the new stuff too. I've always felt going to see a band you saw 20 years ago might not be the same but sure as hell beats sitting on the couch. Professional musicians have a way of putting on kick ass concerts if you enjoy music.
Not just Pantera. The opening band changes almost every night. When they do two nights, it’s a different opening band each night. In Jersey it’s Pantera and Mammoth WVH night one and Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills night two.
Other cities have Greta Van Fleet or Volbeat.
Metallica is also not repeating a song from night one and two. Should be a cool tour.
New song sounds pretty good for new stuff
Metallica Pantera tour - ( New Window )

1.2 million views in 6 hours says otherwise. What a twat thing to say. Where is your music video?

Leave Rob alone. He’s still upset about the Taylor Swift and Ticketmaster beef.
