Giants free safety Xavier McKinney has the cast off his left hand. It is severely swollen with several pins in the back of his hand, beneath his knuckles, across. He’s not speaking to the media. But there’s your update for today #Giants
with cast off, thinking back on field in 2-3 weeks
maybe I am being optimistic
Sight seeing tour... the Tijuana edition. Have a bad feeling the timeframe will be longer. Sounds like he did a lot of damage.
They put two guys back into a game who re-injured themselves within 30 minutes.
Sounds like every Giant on the roster. And Ezeudu I believe finished the game. Everyone wanted him in to play. What can you do. At least he tried - and was pretty bad.
By now they should know Lemiuex will do everything to play and while his courage and willingness to play is commendable, they need to protect him from himself. Instead he's just now always hurt.
They should just put him on the shelf and give him one more chance next year with no guarantee of making the roster.
Amputate the f'n toe. It's not like he needs it, fgs. He'll be back in a week and never have to worry about it again. JPP is playing without 3 fingers and Shaq Griffin played with one hand. That's what Gates would do :)

My uncle played for the Florida Gators eons ago and later was on a few practice squads in the NFL. Anyways, he was also an O lineman with a real bad toe in college and one of the coaches at the time tried to convince him to amputate it.

I did a turf toe in high school it was painful but I played thru it all yr
now , at nearly 59, I have a cheilectomy on it and it probably naturally fusing itself may consider a fake big toe joint down the road they have them but i dont know the data yet on how well they work i still pound it but i feels like I put my toe thru a meat grinder for a day after I do
sounds like he had a pretty traumatic fracture to require pin fixation... and it's fairly common for pins to remain in place 5-6 weeks postoperatively.
I am not expecting him back, if at all, until the last week or two of the season.

Azeez Ojulari and Evan Neal both said they practiced full today. No official injury report #Giants

The defense desperately needs Jackson and McKinney to solidify the defense.

if it was that bad, cast would still be on'
he will be playing this yr unless we are out of it in 4 weeks and they just wrap it up for yr
Sure what do you care? It's not your toe!
