His 1st game back is against the Texans? This was probably discussed then and I missed it, but is there any way this isn't a coincidence?
The league can posture all they want about any given issue or mistreatment, but then you see this and it's obvious money is always steering the ship
Name another player who has been suspended for an 11 game length
He's played well for them for sure, may get himself a shot somewhere else next year

settled on a suspension length. I doubt they looked at who was on the schedule as a means of settling the length of suspension.

I think this had to do with gaining a year of eligibility if I am not mistaken.

It was also a compromise between a year and 4 months(or whatever the NFLPA proposed.) 17 plus 4 is 21/2 is 10.5 games...
I'm noodling on him vs. Dak myself. His ESPN projection is 4 points higher
Why feel sorry for a guy that's not a starter level QB? He knew he was just a place holder until Watson returned to action. It's not like being replaced came out of the blue.
If they part ways with DJ, and the Browns part ways with Brisette, it could happen. I think Brisette is a little better than Tyrod Taylor.

It was an original 6 game suspension. Then the league sued with the intent of suspending him for the entire season. Watson threatened to sue, and probably would've won (NFL can't just set it's own suspensions without precedent)...so the NFL and Watson agreed to half the remaining games (5 more out of 11). 6 + 5 = 11 games.

but I feel bad for Jacoby Brisette.
Under-the-radar possibility: Jacoby Brisette starting at QB for the 2023-24 NY Football Giants.

Taylor is so brittle I can’t see him being penciled in as a starter.
1 quarter for each UNPROVEN sexual assault? There's definitely smoke...but if you actually do some digging, the only "proof" used to discipline him was his supposed use of a "towel trick" mentioned by 12ish women that all have the same lawyer.
Before you attack me...I'm not saying he's innocent, but when 25 women make the same accusation and none have enough evidence/proof to charge him criminally...it should make you wonder.

Yea, let's not, this wasn't meant to be that type of discussion.
As for fantasy, I'd have a tough time starting Watson this week but I guess it depends on your options.
Keeping Watson just to keep him off of the wire, in case he's playing too well.
