FF 11/29 Waivers/more

How did your long weekend fantasy Turducken games go?

In my 12-team .5 PPR the train keeps rolling, holding on to the one-seed and improving to 10-2.

I'm in 5 leagues, and in most of them, I'm having a terrible year, but in the potentially most lucrative one, I picked up the win thanks to Miles Sanders and an honorable mention to Dalton Schultz.

In that league, I started 2-0, and then lost 6 of the next 7 weeks before making a Jonathan Taylor, Justin Herbert, and Garrett Wilson trade for Tua, Amari Cooper, and Dalton Schultz. Since that trade, I'm 3-0 now drawing to even on the year. Right back in the playoff race.

On to waivers ... How are you guys feeling about Zay Jones vs Detroit this week (32nd ranked DEF to passers)?

How would you rank Davis-Price, Zamir White, Jermichael Hasty, and some guy named Bam Knight?

Is this the next Bam Morris? Rank these Bams: Morris, Margera, Bam Bigelow.

I appreciate a good Bam as much as Emeril Lagasse, but is this guy making my boy I bet on and traded draft capital for, James Robinson, now fantasy irrelevant? Droppable?

Give me your weekend re-caps, waiver thoughts, or any other fantasy ramblings below.

Nice...glad to see that you are holding onto that #1 spot

Our regular season just ended this weekend. Finished #1 with a record of 11-1 although it should have been 12-0 if D.Montgomery didn't get hurt at the beginning of the game against the Texans (K.Herbert on my bench went for 32 points). I also won $50 for scoring the most points in the regular season by 120 points as well as winning seven weekly high scorer in 12 weeks to get additional $70 ($10 per week payout). That got me my buy-in back plus $20.

I'm on a bye this week as the #1 seed and will play my first playoff game in Week 14. Thankfully I sort of solved my Week 14 RB issue by getting Zeke and T.Pollard in a trade. Since the Cowboys are playing against the Texans in Week 14, I feel good about playing both of them as my RB1 and RB2. I just need them to score me a total of 25 points or so although I think it may be significantly more. However, I have weak options for my Flex since A.Jones is on a bye, so I'm going to have to do some maneuvering on waivers for Week 14.

Current lineup for Week 14:
QB: J.Allen
RB: Zeke, T.Pollard
WR: S.Diggs, J.Jefferon
TE: T.Kelce
Flex: ?
S-Flex: D.Jones

Bench: M.Ryan (bye), A.Jones (bye), AJ.Dillon (bye), D.Harris, C.Akers, D.Hilliard, J.Cook, J.Williams (PUP)

Available on waivers: D.Slayton, Z.Knight, J.Hasty, B.Snell, J.Mason/T.Davis-Price, I.McKenzie

Once I get through Week 14, I will have A.Jones back to take over as my Flex for our Championship game (cumulative points from Weeks 15 and 16).
I won in both my leagues

and clinched playoffs in both (9 - 3 in both leagues). first in one, 2nd in the other.

The league I'm in 2nd I kind of threw in the towel two weeks ago at 7 - 3 (a weak 7 - 3) but I won these past two weeks. I traded Jonathan Taylor for Jeff Wilson Jr and a 4th round pick (I cannot keep Taylor and he had been struggling, and a 4th is the highest pick we can trade so I thought I'd sell high but with Wilson get back some value to keep things moving).

Anyway, I don't regret it, but my team is a little worse for it.

I need to win one of the last two weeks to get a bye.

The other league where I'm in 1st that team has championship potential.

I don't think I'll make any big waiver moves in either league.

The big names available are Hasty, Snell, Zonovan Knight, Elijah Moore

I’m 9-3

2nd place in my league. Hasty, Zonovan Knight, Snell, Mason are available. Honestly not too sure which RB to go with. Mason seems like the guy since CMC always ends up getting hurt, but just saw it’s possible Davis-Price could end up being the primary SF backup. No clue on Warren status either if Najee misses time. Definitely want one of the 4 RB, but definitely the right one in hopes of getting the 1 seed or at least a first round bye.

I traded away J.Taylor and L.Fournette a few weeks back for Zeke, T.Pollard, and AJ.Dillon (as a handcuff for A.Jones) to solve my Week 14 RB issue. It's worked out for me since L.Fournette hasn't played and is most likely going to lose touches to R.White.

Traded Kirk for Pollard and Claypool right before NFL deadline once heard Claypool would get traded( didn’t pan out how we wanted, but Pollard is a nice addition.) Have the most available FAB, so are looking to get the best available RB since Monty has his bye. Win out, possibly get first place. WR are a problem but really don’t think Moore is the answer. Jets have a lot of WR Moore, Davis(probably will get more touches over time), Mims and Wilson.

I also had a week 14 bye problem with Aaron Jones and Jonathan Taylor - plus more.

no clue why there are byes week 14 so close to the end of the season (real NFL season not even considering FF) and none week 12.

Sounds like

Knight is a good add I guess? I think a lot of this has to do with how the injury questions play out. It seems like Michael Carter has a low ankle and is day to day. If he were to be out, I'd really dig Knight. It seems J-Rob is in the doghouse.

Etienne is similarly a probable go this week, but I'm much more concerned about his injury as it is the same foot that he had the Lisfranc surgery on.

It feels like in my two leagues I am competitive in, this is a critical week for waivers but for different reasons.

One is for picking the right guy that could be a huge boost for the playoffs, and the other is picking a guy that is going to help me win for this week only. And I have no idea what to do in either situation.

I think a simple solution would to be to add Zay Jones assuming this is a flex question, which it for me, as he offers a lot of upside this week and moving forward would be a decent flex play.
