but I'm counting the days until Sunday Ticket is elsewhere and I can move on from this garbage company with their garbage equipment and garbage service.
To drop Fox and I m certain Fox doesn’t want to lose 13 million viewers. Hopefully something will get done with out interruption of service
But I ve just about had it with Direct TV. I haven’t had CBS for 2 months , that is an issue with our local affiliate
Hopefully because of the magnitude of the Fox audience that scenario will be avoided
I have the Sunday Ticket with Direct TV and the he NBA Package so I am going to keep it for a while
But am set up to stream and probably will be dropping Direct TV n near future
But it s not something I m eager to do yet. Streaming, at least for me is not bas convenient a viewing experience
I have had the same problem w no CBS for the last two months, been using Paramount + for most of the shows I want to watch. If Fox gets cut, it will be time to cancel

Have you ever tried hooking up a HD antenna to your television and receive the local networks that way?
Yes, but I am now since last week a subscriber to Hulu, I can get the stations that way
Not preferable because if Giants are on local station as they often are, it s difficult to get out of Hulu and back to Direct TV to check on other games
I M prepared to put another tv in the room and keep Red Zone on that one when Giants are on local channel, but that was my plan for next season
I wasn’t expecting a disruption of service for CBS and now possibly Fox this season. I won t miss any Giants games on the local networks because I ll stream it
But I ve get to learn how to record and watch later as I ll have to do on Christmas Eve if a conflict lasts that long
The networks vs. the providers is an issue all services face, whether it’s satellite, cable, or streaming carrier. But typically they shake out after a little pain.

Exactly. I remember a neighbor complained on the neighborhood app that Directv was in negotiations with a network and she was saying that she was going to switch to Dish. Someone commented saying the same thing. All of them have contract issues.

Yeah every time their contracts are up they each play a game of chicken trying to get the other one to blink first
When YouTubeTV and Disney couldn’t agree on terms, YTTV discounted me $15. That was refreshing. I had DTV for years and never even got a “we’re sorry” email. I thought that was a fair move.
It all gets worked out eventually — but yes, it's possible service will be interrupted.
This is part of why Rupert Murdoch was smart to "overpay" when he lured NFC from CBS to Fox Broadcasting. It made Fox a "must-carry" network because NFL fans want their goddam football.

I've had enough of cable prices and will be cord cutting to YouTube TV soon myself.
One problem though is no YES network only DirecTV streaming app has it.
I guess I have to pay for both for 6 months? I don't watch every game but I like checking in on the game and watching on a lazy summer weekend day
Not sure what the answer is for this other than pay for both
