The Drew Bledsoe led Bills I think were in the playoff hunt that year. It was also the year Pennington and the Jets slaughtered the Colts in the playoffs and we shall not mention what happened to the Giants.
Except for 2016, the Giants have been out of it by December since 2012. The Jets were 3-8 by the end of November 2016 and got trounced by the Colts, 41-10, on Dec 5th. Not meaningful.
In 2012 the Jets finished 6-10, after losing their last 3 games, so you could make a case for their Dec 2nd & 9th victories to be meaningful, as the 2nd WC was the Bengals at 10-6. The same could be said for the Bills, who also finished 6-10, and became 5-7 with a victory over Jacksonville on Dec 2nd. Both Dec 2nd games were meaningful for the 2 desperate AFC teams.
A more compelling case would be 2011, when the Titans got the 2nd WC at 9-7, while the Jets went 8-8 and the Bills, after losing 3 straight and slipping to 5-6, played the Titans on Dec 4th. They lost that game and 3 more in a row to fall out of it. But Sec 4th was certainly meaningful for the desperate Bills.
all three made the playoffs. I was at the Bills-Jets wild card game. Bills were up 14-0 within the first minute of the game, then it started snowing, pretty much game over. Bills go on to lose to the Bengals.
Giants beat the Eagles and then lost to SF. SF wins SB against the Bengals.
2016
2012?
I guess that’s a realistic question. NY-NY-Buff
2016
2012?
Jets finished 2-14 in 2020 season.
Hint #1 (too early for hints…) this millennium.
Clearly the Bills won (Josh Allen), with the Giants second (Barkley), and the Jets a distant 3rd (Darnold).
This is technically the LAST time
I thought you wanted last 3 seasons NYG had meaningful games in December and I haven't even had a drink
This is technically the LAST time
I’m afraid you’’re DQd on a technicality. It’s not December yet.

So I selected 2011.
