4th place in my league, playing the 3rd place team. We are both 7-4.
My current QB is Jimmy G. He's at home against Miami this week which is a good match-up.
But I'm the asshole in my league that stashed Deshaun Watson a few weeks ago. He's playing the Texans in Houston.
Who scores more points this week, Jimmy G or Deshaun Watson?
I think Watson > Jimmy G and if those were my options I'd start Watson.
Afraid to play Fields this week even if he does play. Watson is in his first week back. Which of the 3 has the highest floor for this week?

Lawrence vs DET is enticing, but I'd probably go Watson, it's not like he's coming back from injury though he could be rusty.

tongue in cheek. My buddies (who were likely eyeing him anyway) gave me some shit for being the first to grab him.

One of the managers in my league (a new guy) did the same. He drafted D.Watson in the 11th Round and had him stashed all season. However, you can't stash SUSPENDED player on your IR spot, so D.Watson had taken up one of his bench slot all season. Well, our playoff started this weekend, and this manager finished 11th out of 12, so he won't be able to reap the benefit of stashing him. However, since ours is also a Keeper and a Superflex league, being able to keep D.Watson in exchange for a 10th Round pick is a total steal come next season.
That being said, I'm starting Tua over him in 2 of my leagues. First off, I think Tua is a top notch QB and isn't getting the respect he deserves and secondly Watson hasn't played in about 2 years. I gotta see something first.
Although it wouldn't surprise me if he had a good game against Houston, but I just don't see a 30+ pt performance from a guy that hasn't played in 2 years.
Yeah, I get it, Watson can run. That's cool. Watson hasn't played in an NFL game in TWO YEARS. I don't trust that.
I was going to ask what the rest of your roster looks like, but I still think you have to play Jimmy G.
I'm a little surprised some of you would roll with Deshaun right away, I just think that's very risky. As for Trevor Lawrence, he's playing Detroit, there's no matchup better. I'm playing Trevor Lawrence this week even over Tua. I understand this is unconventional, but I need big upside this week, and I think Lawrence has more against the league-worst passing defense than does Tua playing San Francisco at home in Santa Clara.
I'd play Jimmy G this week, I'd give Deshaun Watson at least 1 week to acclimate himself back to NFL game action.
I also need a win. I'm 6-6, in 5th place, 4 teams make the playoffs, and the breakdown is this:
1st: 9-3
2nd: 8-4
3rd: 8-4
4th: 7-5
---
5th: 6-6 ME
I also probably need to win a spot outright, because I had a miserable stretch and have a low point total, and am highly unlikely to win any tiebreaker scenarios. So I need to go 3-0 and get help. I do play the 3rd place team weeks 14 and 15. If he loses this week and I win, I control my own destiny.
In any scenario, it's probably necessary to win out to get in.
I need a drop candidate...Hayden Hurst or Curtis Samuel. My starting TE is Dalton Schultz.
I seriously debated playing him over Allen this week because I didn’t like Allen’s odds of a big point game against NE last night. I have a feeling I’m going to regret my decision to start Allen this week after Watson drops 30+ on Sunday.

I get that it's Houston and Watson is going to want to ball out. Don't get me wrong, as an Amari Cooper owner I want him to throw 4 TDs to Amari. I'm a little conservative on the outlook given the amount of time away, though.
Michael Carter is doubtful and I should have added Zonovan Knight. I didn't, I suck, and now I am hurting at flex. Probably going to go with Zay Jones.
Guys please give me some feedback on this flex decision, as again, this is absolute must-win time against my toughest matchup of the season.
Here are guys in my flex now:
Tyler Boyd at home vs Chiefs (Chase probably returning but likely on a pitch-count, Mixon might be out and Perine in)
Miles Sanders at home vs Titans (Sanders had a big week but Titans 3rd fewest points allowed to RBs in .5 PPR, and 2nd fewest in standard and Sanders doesn't catch passes anymore anyway.
To be honest, they've been pretty dominant against ball carriers since Saquon week 1 and have allowed 23.3% fewer production to RBs than the average for the season. Over last 5 weeks, 25% fewer. This seems like a hard avoid, here, but my alternatives:
Zay Jones @ Detroit
As I said, starting Trevor, potential high-scoring game, can stack this, Jones is questionable but I don't know why he wouldn't play.
Curtis Samuel @ Giants - No.
I think I have to go Boyd and Jones, right?
If Aaron Jones plays, it's Boyd. And I think Jones is playing.
I get the fear with Chase coming back, but I do think he's going to be limited, this game has a potential for Burrow and Mahomes to throw it a combined 100 times. We might see 10 TDs in this game, I'm not joking.
I don't see how you can get away from playing just about any fantasy asset playing in this game.
The Chiefs have allowed the most TDs to WRs in the NFL, they've allowed the 6th most fantasy points, and this is Burrow and this trio of receivers, they want to throw it, I think just roll with Boyd.

AJ Dillon or Tyler Boyd for my final flex. Who ya got?

I think you just convinced me.

I have given up on Boyd and dropped him for Lawrence when Fields got hurt. Boyd was my 5th WR and not going to play

This is probably the last week I will play him, but this is the week to do it.
Home vs Buffalo week 17 still an outside possibility, but outside of that, it's this week and feel free to drop unless Chase or Higgins gets hurt again.
I think Watson > Jimmy G and if those were my options I'd start Watson.
Same here. I own Watson in a keeper league and have since his rookie year. I've held on for this long couldn't give a fuck less what others think about it, lol. All is fair in love and war.
I'd start Watson. I am starting him over Geno Smith who has been more FF productive than Jimmy G.
Start Watson unless you have a top 3-4 guy already starting.
Woke up this morning and realized Geno has been doing it all year why fuck with that. I almost fucked my season up real good by going watson.
