Patriots quarterback Mac Jones threw for a career-high 382 yards against the Minnesota Vikings last week, but completed just 22 of 36 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown on Thursday night. During the game, Amazon cameras caught the second-year signal-caller screaming at someone, and using several expletives in the process.
New England's running backs rushed 11 times for 53 yards. Rhamondre Stevenson led the way with 54 yards on 10 carries. Whether Jones said "run game" or "quick game," he clearly took issue with the play-calling on Thursday night. The Patriots declined to name an official offensive coordinator this season, but Matt Patricia and Joe Judge appear to be the two guys in charge of that side of the ball. |

Not me, everyone needs a Judge experience now and then
What a huge disappointment he's turning out to be for New England.
I miss the old NE patriot taking a dump in the woods helmet.
Not against the Giants LBers and decimated secondary. That's an easy walk in TD.
What a huge disappointment he's turning out to be for New England.
McCorkle can feel that lucrative 2nd contract falling out of his grasp.

really should STFU. He makes Daniel Jones look like a top five QB.

That made me laugh...well done.
I don’t sympathize at all with Mac Jones.

Many here were blaming the OC Jason Garrett for most of DJ’s issues, and he was a successful play caller for more than a decade. Mac Jones is stuck with a former DC and a ST coordinator, and he’s regressed markedly in his 2nd year. I think he has a much more legitimate beef than DJ did.

To bw’s credit, the Garrett complaints didn’t come from him. I always felt Garrett got a raw deal here.

Yes, DJ would never do that. While I was not a fan of the Garrett hire, he definitely got a raw deal here. He was blamed for everything but the Hoffa murder.
It’s the same thing that Mara got criticism for, Belichick has never been different. Failure to look outside his comfortable circle. Belichick’s staff is filled with nepotism and people he’s comfortable with.
That’s a shame

The whole situation was a Mara/Tisch managerial clusterf*. Lets put a veteran nationally known coach and his splinter cell staff under a rookie no name head coach. Nothing can possblie go wrong.

The "Joe Judge Experience" Hey Joe, I heard you shot your QB down.
What a huge disappointment he's turning out to be for New England.
But arm talent is overrated according to some.

the Joe Judge clown picture.
I think it was the lipstick on John that set the whole thing in motion...

Yes, a lot of cousins are from NH and are big Patriot fans. I'll give them credit though-these dudes were Patriot fans when the Pats were going 1-15 in '90.

I wonder how many here could have said the same. To all the GFan_in_westbumblef*ck should have been patriots fans (if in New England) or Seawawks fans (if in the Pacific Northwest) etc. only for those teams to suck & 1980s pre cap Gaints football awesome. But only for them to turn aruond and suck just the same in a now cap league. Something to think about....

Yep. He missed open receivers all night. Limited player.

McCorkle definitely has an average arm at best.
In order for him to have any chance of being consistency successful, he's going to need a very good team to support him. And even then, I think that only evens his odds of being a good NFL QB.
Pats are at an inflection point with Jones. They need to serious consider moving on...
