Getting off the practice field just now. RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) back to work with his helmet. WR Kadarius Toney (hamstring) the only player missing.
When a guy pulls a hammy, it’s one of those injuries that are always obvious. Some guys hop, some guys sorta limp a little, others grab at it. But it’s almost always obvious the exact moment it happens.
Also, depending on the severity from cramp to a pull to a full tear, guys miss a game to a month.
Yet with Toney, he’s had how many hamstring injuries so far? And I can’t recall more than once seeing him and saying “yup, that’s a hammy”. AND he’s always out for way longer than most are for the same injury…
Just…. Oddd. Isn’t it?
I mean, the last hammy injury he had with the Giants he apparently got during a walk through practice. Allegedly. Tells you all you need to know about that guy…
What grabbed my attention is that Toney is the ONLY
Have in common? Two groups who just don’t get that th rest of us don’t care what you do but can not give the same courtesy. Don’t open the thread. W and the. To post to tell others to move on? Lol. Then again maybe they are vegans and KT fans. Would explain a lot.
I think reading the word HAMstring might trigger them.
He's gone, move on. A lot of people complain they didn't want him here and then when he's gone keep bringing the guy up. Same shit happened with OBJ. This isn't directed at anyone specific, just a general observation.
This^^^.
Toney was an absolute turd who gave two shits about football. He's been gone for months. Ostensibly, he's been gone even longer than the trade. I don't get why people care about a player who most likely won't be in the league within 2 years. Good riddance.
If you don't get it, maybe that's a you thing. It's not for lack of explanation. Most are quite willing to explain why, and do.
player missing practice for KC this week. And then look at our injury report. Depressing.
There's that scatterplot of NFL team injuries where the Giants are an outlier all by their lonesome on the the far right of the graph. The only place I've seen an outlier like that was a scatterplot that proved a player was cheating at online poker because their winning was such an outlier - the player was an employee computer progammer at the online poker company.
I think every one of our draft picks this year missed significant time this year? Yeesh.

I defended him (somewhat) and thought he might still contribute.
When he played, he played hard.
But I knew the trade made sense and its even more apparent now
Very strange kid
He mentioned there were red flags. He was more diplomatic about it after the Giants drafted him, but clearly there was intel about Toney being a risk. That the Giants (Gettleman) drafted him after the deandre baker fiasco is even more perplexing.
RE: the word on the inside is that he is not good at the rehab process
To practice/play? And this is now after he was traded to maybe the best possible situation for him. It’s truly mystifying how this kid is thumbing his nose at an opportunity millions would kill for.

I believe that I read the DG did not want Toney and this pick was totally Judge. The video of DG pacing angrily is just before the pick IIRC. I think DG want one of the oline.

No, that's not what occurred.
Just an item that is rumored/repeated on this site often enough that it becomes fact.

The Giants had a tier of names that they were going to draft at #20 but they were all taken before their pick. So they defaulted to adding a playmaking WR to help Jones (which was always an offseason goal stated by Mara/DG anyway). Toney got pulled up on to be the pick amongst several available WRs. It wasn't a Judge or a DG pick, it was the consensus of them all.
The video of DG pacing around the war room and Judge looking at him oddly was during round 2 the next evening. And it was likely due to them trading down once again and DG being unnerved in that strategy as names of guys on their board being taken in front of them for the second straight round. It's not in his DNA to trade down and what you saw was how he reacted when pursuing/agreeing to such a strategy finally in a draft.

Succinctly and well stated.

Because it's funny.
Don't cry, okay?

at this rate hes not going to make it to his contract year.
Nothing forcing you to patronize his website.
shocking!
