...he said he spoke to McKinney in the locker room this week. He said he should be back this season, but he is still a little while away.
Raanan then said that he saw McKinney without the cast and he had some metal on his hand/fingers which is likely pins.
Art Stapleton said the same thing on his podcast. Getting closer, before the end of the season, but not anytime soon.
I don't have any way of knowing this, but I suspect that his injury was WAY worse than a few broken fingers. His ATV rolled over, and if it rolled onto his had I would think multiple bones in his had were broken in multiple places. That would explain the pins sticking out that Raanan is referring to.
Even if he comes back this season will he still be
stick his hand into the ATV engine or something? Yeesh.
If I had to guess, looking at that ATV he was riding, it had roll bars. It probably rolled and his natural reaction was to grab the roll bar for support. When it rolled, the bar probably crushed his hand. Hence the metal running through his hand like the terminator. It’s laughable at this point. This team will never get out of its own way. 42 and 46 cost us decades in the luck department. God knows when we will have paid our dues.
At least I can say I wouldn’t trade anything for those two rings. Just making the playoffs and being competitive a couple years does not equate knocking off the best team ever. TWICE.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. He came right out and said he broke his hand. Then it was fingers. I think his hand was crushed and he did a lot of damage.
No word if and when he might return.

Not any time soon lol.
What a joke. I hope he had a lot of fun during his bye week
Put a club in there for stability.
