up points on bad teams. Problem is, they are the bad team. Team relied on a group of kids who were over rated. KK and Laffy are average players. Nothing special about either one of them.
is absolutely useless. Injury or not, the Buchevich trade was legit one of the worst trades in the history of this franchise. Nonsensical then and even worse now.
Money, salary cap. If you remember that little detail. But the great braintrust here, forgets that minor detail. But I am stupid, I called Lafreniere, remember. I know nothing. Better gather yourselves and come up with a counter offer. Clueless.

No idea what you're ranting about here
I think he's talking about the salary cap situation which led to the Buchnevich trade. The Rangers simply couldn't afford to keep him. I don't have a problem with the trade, just the return. Blais is barely a 4th line NHLer.
Was deadly. This year not so. Tonight the Blackhawks have three PP goals. Rangers one. PP is too predictable. Keep trying to do the same thing even when it doesn’t work.

Trading Buchnevich wasn't the problem. The problem is they got absolutely nothing for him. He wasn't a cap dump. Nemeth was a cap dump. Staal was a cap dump. Buchnevich was a top-line player then and is still a top-line player.
No one on this team has improved from last year. No one. Fox looks like the only guy who can be an all-star on this team, but even he doesn't look as good as he did in years past.
Rangers announcers say the players are going through the motions that is pretty damaging.
It’s beyond disturbing when you hear the players say they’re lacking energy, lacking the will, lacking confidence and they’re not playing hard. It’s certainly not difficult to see that’s the case.
Gallant: "I thought we played faster and played harder, but same result. We’ve got to make some adjustments, but we definitely played harder."
And Vali disagreed with him immediately after watching the press conference.
It’s way past time to protect the team from criticizing the team publicly but he’ll live and die by the sword. Once he’s down the door it’ll be the same old story we’ve seen too many times where the players will say we didn’t do enough for the head coach.
Rangers fortunes are tied to young guys: Laf, KK, Chytil, et al.
If those guys suck as a group, it's going to be a long rebuild.
And it's possible that they don't as a group come close to the hype they first had around them.
But you gotta find out by playing them consistent minutes
Drury is in over his head. He trades Buch like its a rebuild and then signs Goodrow as if it's win now, Give him credit for great deadline trades but two clueless offseasons in a row show he can't be the guy running things
Hawks D are slow and poor stickhandlers
Rangers need to hang in there
Wide open net, jeez 2 goals a quarter of the way through the season...ouch.
And I was expecting Connor McDavid.... or at least Austin Matthews...or at least Jack Hughes...

Very disappointed with him. Not playing like a top pick
And by the way I’m getting a little tired of Chytil being a china doll too Always hurt.

If you were expecting McDavid you were in for a titanic disappointment long before Laffy stepped on to the Garden ice.
Good thing I’m not the team Dr as Sammy’s back at it.
Changes have to happen NOW
Losing to the Blackhawks wouldn't even be our most embarrassing loss of the season...
Yes.....because whoever we draft will bust
And a big yellow taxi took Gallant away"

Possibly, but I could see Drury hiring someone like Tocchet or Patrick Roy. Or he could just make Kris Knoblauch the interim HC.

And if everyone is looking at #88 like he would be the answer to their ills, they’ve got too many problems for a single bandaid to be the solution.

Except for Fox (who may be a unicorn), player development has been abysmal.
No on the first two.
