I just got two together back of endzone in the Himalayan’s for 100 TOTAL. That’s 2 with fees, 50 each. Sure it’s high up but who cares. In the building. If you’re on the fence, do it. Perfect day for football.
Going to games live can be awesome-I had season tickets, my father before me, for decades...up till PSL's etc.
Now, I go to one game a year with my son. Admittedly, it was the Lions game, so a lifeless performance by the Giants, but I walked away wondering why I went?
$300 to sit in the upper section, cold as hell, stadium impossible to get to (parking is expensive and time consuming, public transport takes forever), blaring noise throughout, endless timeouts.
I mean nice to spend time with my adult son, but we both acknowledged it may have been just as fun, and a whole lot less expensive to watch on his big screen, freeze for an hour and avoid the commercials, food/drink nearby, etc.
I know, Debbie Downer here, but as someone said, the stadium had a lot (and I mean a lot) of empty seats for the Lion's game....for a reason.

No I hear you. I paid 50 bux yesterday and another 50 on parking that we split, so not a bad day at all money wise, but I find it harder and harder to justify going. I only went once this year and that's probably it for the year and yesterday was about as easy as one could hope for. Glad I went don't get me wrong, nice day to be outside, good to be with my fellow NYG friends, but it's getting old. Or maybe it's me getting old...little of both.
Ill be back, but I seem to have to find the perfect storm of good excuses to go these days. I use to go all the time.
and I just don't understand the need to pump in the loudest
music on earth during EVERY SINGLE STOPPAGE. Every time! I even like the music they play sometimes and it still sucks. Can we have a moment to let the game breathe and not bombard us constantly? Who the fuck thinks this is actually bringing in more fans or generating revenue????

To each his own, but you went to the worst game this year as far as how the Giants played / how much the crowd was into it. As I recall, it was sunny so it wasn't that cold. Getting out of the lots isn't the greatest but even when we parked in the gold lots I don't think it was that hard.
The current stadium experience has very little appeal to me
Music, flashing signs and noise between EVERY SINGLE DOWN. I'm not sure who that's supposed to be for, but it's not me.
Not to mention the over the top security, limits on what you can bring in with you and all of the other anti-fan measures that have been implemented over the years.
The experience of watching the game in my living room is far superior...and much cheaper.
Changed the entire dynamic at Metlife. At times, it seems like people are more concerned about dancing to the music and talking about work/life/dinner/etc.
Every week different people are sitting all around you. It kind of sucks that the camaraderie amongst fellow fans is lost.

I'm right there with you, much prefer the quiet comforts of home. But, my friend generously offered and I couldn't say no. But, sharing football with 80k people in person kinda sucks in my book lol.

Counterpoint: while it's definitely cheaper, I don't think it's superior. Go watch the highlights of the Lamar Jackson fumble or the sack on Mayfield at the end of the Carolina game or the Barkley TD run against the Cowboys and think how much better it would be watching those with 70,000 screaming fans. But hey, maybe the cat or whatever cares about the Giants.
I don't give a shit about what music they play or whatever. It doesn't bother me. We have a great time at the games and are already looking forward to next year.

I took my two boys yesterday. If it wasn't for the high level tailgate we were invited to it would have been a bust of a day. These days I prefer going to see them at an away location. It's amazing how many teams have better gameday experiences than this team.
Tickets are all digital now. They are emailed instantly.

Sucks sorry to hear. I gave up my seasons three years ago.
