on Thanksgiving, why the mini bye is a total advantage for them. Giants have gotten a lot of bodies back during this 10 days and hopefully the others guys recharged the batteries a bit.
I think the Giants get an ugly 4th quarter comeback win 23-17. Fabian Moreau and Julian Love combine to tackle Terry McLaurin on the one yard line as the game clock expires.
the pessimism here lately is getting out of hand. Last week we were severely undermanned and yet folks here saw a lead and thought they SHOULD win this game.
Now an average, and they are average, Washington team rolls in and everyone fears them. I think the opposite here. I like our chances in this game, mostly because we are starting to get some folks back and we had 10 days to recover from the Lions and Cowboys games.
I want to see KT and AO (even just a little bit) get after TH and throw off that offense but most of all, I want to see the Giants come away from their more predictable SB overuse and spreading the love around with Breida and Brightwell getting in the mix. Sometimes being less predictable is more easily accomplished just by having someone else on the field.
especially on the OL/DLs. Getting Jack Anderson and all the inconsistent LG's on the bench should be a big boost. Hopefully Neal too.
on the DL Thibs coming off his best game and Ojulari coming back could mean this is the week we get some game changing plays from the pass rush again instead of getting close but falling short like the last couple weeks.
bellinger is another guy where it's not outside the realm of possibility that he could step in and basically function as the team's best receiving target right away.
still worried about the secondary holding up but this should be a much easier opponent than dallas and moureau/jefferson are back which should help.
Was trying get into college football yesterday. They said Stentson Bennett at Geo is 25. Looked him up. Born Nov 1997. Daniel Jones born May 1997. Was Jones considered “younger” when drafted? And is he younger for a QB going into a second contract?

No - Jones was exactly as old as a college senior normally is. Some guys get drafted after junior year.

Bennett is the outlier here, not Jones. Most prospects are 21-22 years old.
The advantage the Giants have over Washington is Daniel Jones. He has to br fully unleashed, throw a couple of long passes mixed in with the ball control offense they are using. The other thing with Jones is he needs to be fully unleashed to run as much as he needs/wants to. If he gets hurt it only tells you that your incapable of unleashing Jones full potential because he will only get hurt. Then you live and learn and move forward, buy to not let this guy go full bore today is insanity, unless he is injured, but all indicators say he is healthy. In my opinion, Washington wins this game unless Jones takes it over, and I think he will and will really win over a lot of skeptical fans. The guy is ready. It's his time to shine.
I am hoping that Neal/Bellinger being back helps to unleash Jones more as a runner. To me it seemed that went down when Bellinger went out. Eric made a great point in the pre-game moving Phillips out to that 6th OL with Neal back. So really three spots were down from the ideal the last few games. I guess we will see.

Giants' secondary full of surprises today. Nick McCloud and Fabian Moreau the outside corners with undrafted rookie Zyon Gilbert, who is making his career debut, in the slot during warmups

Jihad Ward was at the OLB spot opposite Kayvon Thibodeaux. Would think they'll use Azeez Ojulari more in passing situations.
My husband is a Washington fan (he grew up in Northern Virginia) but we make it work. It helps that the Giants have won two championships since the last time WAS was even in the SB. He won't make a bet with me on this game. I think it will be close (I have the Giants winning 13-10) and I think they split their meetings this year. I actually got him a Tress Way jersey for Christmas since he always talks about how Way is their most consistently good player (he's not wrong). GO GIANTS!

MetLife Stadium isn't as juiced like earlier this season. Still early, but feels like losses have planted seeds of doubt in the fan base.
Giants need a fast start today.

I think Thibs has a huge game.

Stetson is ancient lol.

Feeling optimistic today! LGFG! I would love a big win today like Dallas over Minnesota....
Something like 34-7 or 35-10.
It would really set a tone!

I think we see multiple backs playing today.. Giants need to maximize weapons and that is a good way to do it.
This is what it’s all about.
