Saquon Barkley is getting nailed in the backfield for 3-5 yard losses. That was not really happening very much earlier in the season, but starting with the Seattle game, our O-line is starting to have an eerie resemblance to the O-lines of the Joe Judge era.
With so many holes to fill, Joe Schoen decided on a short term fix with two veterans at Center and Right Guard. Now I think he needs to get more serious with a premium draft pick (maybe Day 2?) for his interior line.
I don’t think anyone is healthy in that group.
they need to evaluate gates the rest of the year because he may be the best option for C next year. there isn't much out there in FA.
Those negative downs change the down/distance situation and that leads to the IOL (PB) and WR showing the two biggest weaknesses on offense. Giants just don't have that elite WR or group of upper tier guys to bail them out imv.

They need to get Bredeson/Ezuedu back at LG so they can insert Gates as Center, ASAP
Giants need to recognize the talent and resources our division foes invest on the DL including DT/LB. They should not try to out scheme it. They need to plan (assets) and execute to beat it imv.
I don't see this at all. Except for one play today where he lowered his shoulder, he's very easy to bring down for a guy his size. With good blocking, he can take advantage of a hole and take it to the house. With average to poor blocking, he's nothing special compared to a host of good RBs. IMHO
If EZ or Bredeson is ready tham Neal to right guard, gates to center, Phillips at right tackle and either EZ or Bredeson at left guard.
That is our best o line with what we have available. Long term Neal to right tackle. But we need to win now.
Feliciano is terrible and Gates is much better.
Neal would be better than Glow.
He was on my board as well. Funnily enough Salyer actually succeeded Thomas at left tackle in Georgia.

I like your thinking. And I think the Giants will be drafting a lot higher than many expect. Could be as high as 15.
