Nope. While they have to play the games, those games become incredibly more winnable for both Seahawks and Commanders, making the game in 2 weeks huge given the tie today.

Somehow Philly will get Minshew thru waivers to them, and will trade their water boy to them in the off-season for a 2nd pick.

Sucks for him, I actually thought SF was gonna make it out of the NFC too. Eagles path is disgustingly easy to win the NFC.

Just a bummer as a fan though - SF is such a loaded team with lots of guys who are fun to watch. Even with Jimmy level QB play, they were very dangerous. An injury like this just makes the playoffs less interesting.

Man, I am not saying Philly is a shoe in but wow, they really pick the right years to be in the running for the top seed, first 2017 and now 2022.

It's them or Dallas IMO, and I don't necessarily trust Dallas. Minny is still a long shot - they've are decent but have overahieved record wise.

as SF/SEA would swap wild card positions which would take one of our tie losers out of the equation. Not sure what the tie scenario would be if SF lost out or just one more win with 3rd string QB.

Yeah, this makes it all the more likely that Philly or Dallas is the NFC representative in Glendale in February. I wanna vomit.
