The Giants don't have enough picks to fix this team...and really wont get difference makers after the 4th to 5th round. Gonna need cap space to sign FAs.
And a run clogging LB (the kid at Arkansas?) If you can’t stop the run you gets lots of second and shorts and the other guys are always ahead of the sticks. Defense stays on the field, defense tires late and big plays happen against you.

Both Lawrence and Leonard Williams are excellent vs the run.

Obviously the DBs were thin to begin with and non existent now. But we can get after QBs, have a good coach, and generally kick ass up front - thats a good place to build from.
They better do soemthing to stop the runs up the middle, the Giants

Must haves are stud MLB and quality interior DL depth. Whenever LW or DL is off the field it’s noticeable. I’d add another quality edge as well over CB.

Holding teams to around 20 pts for the year. Wink said when he came here that he wanted to make teams one dimensional. They need ILB's (and they were high on the IR'd rookie) and depth. Imagine how good they can be when Wink takes the run away with this front and still much more potential in the secondary.
Is signing either Tremaine Edmunds or Lavonte David. Adding another good CB as well but ILB is the most important position for them to fill right now. Run defense will go from poor/mediocre to elite with good talent at ILB.

As far as the "almost" sacks are concerned, this is a problem I've had with Wink; his defenses tend to have a low amount of sacks and the Giants teams that have done well don't almost get there, they do get there.
They overthought it the year before passing on Parsons. All that talk about Thibs “passion for the game”, give Schoen/Daboll credit for taking him at 5. I really think he can be a star here.

Yes - provided that you "hit" the 2 picks. IN order to ensure you hit the 2 picks you are drafting one in at worst 2nd rd and 1 in 3rd round.
