Washington Media Thoughts

DC Gmen Fan : 12/5/2022 11:05 am
- Disappointed but relieved they didn't lose
- NYG should have won game
- Heineke still sucks less the one drive where he made clutch throws
- Overall think Jones is decent to above-decent QB
- Think in 2 weeks WAS will focus on stopping Jones ability to run
- Two weeks to prepare again for what they call a do-or-die game
- Might be heinekes last start if NYG win
Who would replace Heineke?

could see Washington making a big pitch for Jones in the offseason, especially with their receivers and defense.

Then a cornucopia of asswipes will rue the day here
If Washington would devote

significant Draft Capital to their offensive line, I think they could make a significant leap forward, and that's even with a meh QB.

Agreed, and I think they have pretty good coaching.

Expect them to do that this draft.

I was very bullish on them to start the season, and while I thought Wentz would be leading them possibly to the playoffs, they still have a shot to make the dance.

obviously doesn't think Heinicke is the answer, or they wouldn't have traded for Wentz. They also drafted Howelll. They are looking for a QB next offseason, as they do almost every year. Will it be Jones? Who knows? But they apparently liked him coming out of Duke, and some of those people may still be with the team. They also face him twice a year and he's somewhat of a known commodity.

Lol….I can see Jones coming back to NY wearing a Commander jersey and then killing us with his arm and legs and walking off feeling pretty vindicated and thanking God he has McLarin, Samuel, and that young bruising stud RB to play with.

I would really enjoy reading the post game comments of all these guys here who want to run Jones out of town….but I have a feeling most of them would be in hiding. The more I think about this, the more I wouldn’t mind seeing this scenario play out.

I don't know how they could be unhappy with Heineke down in D.C.? The guy gives them a chance to win. That 4th down play was a great play, not a good play. If he doesn't make that play, the game is over! He has a lot of moxie, and he is fearless too. He doesn't wow people, but he's not bad.

Jones seems like a great kid and I want to see him succeed. But WTF bro you're fantasizing out loud about the skins beating the Giants.

Whatever that organization does to get a QB, we should not imitate...

If they think Jones is that good and based on their success at filling the position, I'd be skeptical of Jones.

Heinecke is Really Good Back Up,

Imo, he's not a starting caliber NFL QB. The 4th-down throw was a really good play but he and the Commies have been lucky throughout this run. McLauren also makes him look good.

Jones is a throwback of the kind of players who play sports nowadays…and it’s refreshing for me to see.

He is always about team first, not me first, he doesn’t act liked a spoiled brat, he is always encouraging and upbeat, he loves to come to practice early and work hard at being the best he could be, and he never complains or bad mouths anyone- coaches or players. He’s a guy I absolutely love to root for so when I see guys dissing him, yeah, I do find pleasure in visualizing Jones showing them that maybe THEY GOT IT ALL WRONG!

I thought I'd have to wait for him to actually sign with Washington before the fan club started rooting for him over NYG

I hope he goes to the commanders and the Giants absolutely own him for 2 games a year for the next 5 years
