I heard yesterday that T. Crowder and Rodarius Williams weren’t happy with their roles, but this article claims that other unnamed players aren’t happy as well. BS or true??? Wondering if Jon C. or anyone else has heard anything.

This. Players complaining about playing time isn't a big deal IMO.
Crowder is a backup-level player anyway. I'm not an expert but he may not be a good system fit for Martindale's defense. Don't know what he thinks would happen if he were "free."
I don't know about Williams at all.
Losing brings out stuff like this and I couldn't care less what Crowder thinks. He is there because we had injuries and a guy who just couldn't come back from his knee injury the year before. hell, a guy playing on a knee and a half has taken over as our best ILB..
This off season we should see a lot of change but, I think we might see some regression with so many holes to fill. Hopefully we get some guys back next year healthy (so many 2022 draft picks out) and we sign a few solid additions and nail the 2023 draft!
The other guy is too inconsistent also lost hs job to a guy off the street
People still can't wrap their head around the fact that we live in a world where twitter and social media is part of everyday life. These young players probably don't remember a pre-social media world. They complained about playing time on Twitter, who cares IMO.
A growing number of players sounds bad, but it could just mean Crowder and Williams also. The writer could be speculating or he might have facts.

Teams should make a rule about tweeting about the team during the season. IF I tweeted about my work I would be fired.

I care. You don't air your dirty laundry and you don't whine in public. You keep in house. You don't go to Barzini and complain that the Don doesn't respect you. You'd get whacked.
It's a dick move, it's weak, it's stupid, and if I'm in charge it tells me all I need to know about you.
I side with the coaches until it becomes clear they are a big part of it. I see no indication this is the case.
(2) Another failed intelligence test is using social media to bitch and whine. Dumb.
EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is being evaluated on a daily basis. And these type of "me first" statements will be considered.
Also, Martindale uses different roster combinations for different opponents.
Crowder has performed poorly in his role. On the other hand, Williams has flashed. But that's not the whole tape.
If you are not starting because of a rookie or street free agent, do something about it, like learning to tackle.

+1.
I'm sure Crowder is frustrated watching Micah McFadden, who does not appear ready for prime time. But Crowder has been just as bad (aside from one nice game), and unlike McFadden doesn't have a role in the team's future.
Still, neither of these guys have established themselves enough to run to Twitter complaining. They're both fringe players at weak positions, they can be replaced.
It's not exactly like Wink decided to bench Lawrence or something, he didn't play marginal to bad players. We only gave up 20pts in 5 quarters to a very hot football team. These two need to shut up.
Not exactly Rodarius strength.
Tae Crowder is a JAG at best, most of the time he is cheeks.

Realistically, it doesn't matter at all.
But no coach wants locker room stuff said outside. So this does matter. It's poor judgment, which is part of the player's job to consider.

On Twitter? I beg to differ…
And McFadden does not look good at all to me… obviously he’s one of “their guys”, they just drafted him but he looks like he’s struggling mightily to me… So I’m not surprised Crowder is upset, he’s not great himself but he’s gotta be saying to himself at the very least “this guy took my job?”… not saying it’s right, but he’s human and I get it.
We have 2 HUGE games coming up we CANNOT afford to lose both of them. & Winning both might lock up our playoff spot.

Don’t know how more it should be stressed to these guys to keep off Twitter or social media. At least with anything to do with their job
Hated my job plenty. Never ever thought of posting anything about it
Some just don’t fricking get it. Go win your playing time or stfu

Crowder got benched for McFadden who has been given a long enough leash to be benched himself already.
My question is why do they move on from guys and never go back?
In any organization there is politics, regardless of the coaches claiming to play those performing best.
Salary, draft position, time left on contract, attitude etc.
Especially true on a rebuilding team. GM may want to see how his drafts picks are performing. Coach may like someones attitude, a player might be a kiss ass, etc
You see this in college, that's why players transfer.
Bitching and moaning to Twitter will get you shown the door damn quick.
So unless that's their intent, not a good plan.
Throw the whole fucking thing into a black hole and be done with it all. What a monumental drain on humanity it is. Fucking garbage.
Both of them.
Now, it appears the book is out, and they need to counterpunch. I loved Joe Judge his 1st year, too, and by midway through year 2 I couldn't stand him.
(1) the guys who have publicly been chirping don't have the pelts on the wall to do much talking. Stupid move on the part of highly expendable players.
Don't like not starting? Study harder, and start making plays in practice and in games. Be BETTER than the alternatives. It's really not hard, unless you don't have the talent.
These players aren't stupid, they know why they aren't starting. They've been told they aren't better than the playrs who are. Don't like it? Prove the coaches wrong. Talking just shows they can't do it.
Another failed intelligence test is using social media to bitch and whine. Dumb.
Actually, Eric, using Social Media to get the team to move you has been used rather successfully in sports. The problem is other teams don't like these kind of players UNLESS their scouts think the players have massive talent or fit a need. I tend to doubt that for these two.
EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is being evaluated on a daily basis. And these type of "me first" statements will be considered.
True, but the major considerations will be "Can this player help the team or not?" and "Are they worth the hassle of keeping them?". Teams know they need players who can play, and will allow a certain amount of "noise" if the player(s) make a significant impact on the team's success.
That's not fair, but it is what it is.
Also, some people still need to realize it's a poor roster this Gm and coach inherited. Wake up and be realistic since there are teams with stacked rosters fairing much worse..

It’s a freeing moment when you can look back at a moment of disappointment, and have clarity on why God directed it to happen. I got that moment today… and man what a blessing that “disappointment” was. Thank you God
