But they traded away 950 yards and 9 TDs for 350 yards and 1 TD.

They're going to have a top 10 pick this in April, and it just got better last night thanks to Tom Brady
weird with WRs. Besides Jefferson, probably the two, three, and four WRs in the NFL were traded as opposed to getting a new contract. The Titans were wrong to do so, but they were not exactly on an island. Roseman was right in that a first round pick was worth give up a chance to draft a cost-contained receiver for an expensive WR.

Wait hold on... He was dinged up and missed a bunch of games, but when he came back he was finding his grove. He went 7 catches for 111, then 4 for 70, then he had a 25 yard TD against the Eagles before he got a concussion. You won't know how this trade shacks out for a few years. He has been hit with injuries but that could happen to anyone. Was it a good trade... not in my opinion as he should have got more. Lets make this what it is though. They couldn't agree on a contract and they traded him rather than lose him. So again was it a good trade... not in my opinion but was it fire worthy after being the #1 seed and 1st place in your division by 2.5 games? Come on man lets get real here.

A WR that would have also cost them 25+ million a year. Treylon Burks has been pretty good when playing and will probably be a good WR for the next 4 years at a cost control price. Seems weird to fire him over that.
Brown is one of the best in the game….this mentality is why we suck. You need dogs to win. Brown is an absolutely Animal. I’m taking brown for 25 mil over burks every day of week. Brown is a major reason eagles are so good. It was a steal of a trade and quite frankly gm should have been fired then LOL

We got slightly more for Beckham and look how that turned out for Cleveland. Plus Beckham was a way better player at the time we traded him. He had monster years. AJ Brown had two barely 1000 yard seasons and under 900 last year in 13 games. Highest catch total was only 70. He is blowing up now and people are freaking out, but to pay 25 million for a WRs who best season was 70 catches for 1075 yards... Lets not make it out like he was OBJ before the trade. He has really blown up this year though so the trade looks worse. Again it wasn't a good trade, but fired for it? Not so sure on that.
Roseman has not been GM since 2009. He has been in several power struggles and has had different roles and power struggles but is last man standing.

What's not immediately obvious to people away from Tennessee is that the OL already isn't very good. They're run-heavy and that covers it up, but they let arguably their best player on OL go and botched the replacement.

I didn't think it was the worst trade at the time, Brown looked very much like Hakeem Nicks. But that type of X receiver seems to have really opened up Philly offense and Hurts instead of throwing it to a bunch of smurfs.
