Brian Daboll says it’s “doubtful” we’ll see S Xavier McKinney (hand) this week. Still has pins in his hand.

Daboll said S Xavier McKinney is getting a check-up on his hand today. It’s “possible” that McKinney could get the pins removed from his hand today but Daboll said it’s doubtful that he’ll play this week.

OL Shane Lemieux (toe), OL Josh Ezeudu (neck), DL Leonard Williams (neck) and CB Adoree’ Jackson (knee) won’t practice today. Also, OL Mark Glowinski, DL Dexter Lawrence and S Julian Love will be given the day off.

My sense is that Williams’ injury isn’t serious.

As for potentially activating OL Ben Bredeson from IR, Daboll said, “We’ll see.” They’ll wait to see how the week of practice goes.

McKinney is a good player too, but the Giants have four legitimate NFL safeties available. The drop-off from Jackson and Williams at their respective positions is catastrophic.

of weird that Mara and Tisch are such infrequent visitors to practice that the media makes a big deal out of it when it happens.
