Adrian Hill: Referee Penalty Trends & How it may impact betting
Adrian Hill has been a head referee since 2019. Small body of work (47 games) but definitely trending under.
Very even keeled, his home/away splits are similar and Hill is generally around the average mark in most key penalty categories. Hill is what the NFL would probably prefer: a solid ref that to date who hasn’t been involved in controversial calls.
Probably one of the weaker R’s (in 4 seasons as a R I think this is his first on-field assignment).
He is also not officiating with his regular crew. In fact, none of his regular season crewmates are joining him. The U is from Clete Blakeman’s crew, DJ and BJ are from Carl Cheffers’s crew (so we saw them last week), LJ is from Tra Blake’s crew (of JAX game fame), FJ is from Ronald Torbert’s crew, and SJ is from Land Clark’s crew.
To start a thread I didn’t know if he was anti us or for us. Was just asking why someone would like that without a reason. It’s not something I usually follow unless there was a problem. I didn’t mean it the wrong way to the original poster.

Saw on twitter:
Top 5 for defensive holding/unnecessary roughness/roughing the passer.
Above average for DPI
#3 for offensive holding penalties.
