I have been impressed how Coach Dabs and our staff have given him consistent opportunities to prove himself and be a factor. Did not cave to the pressure of forcing him as a #1 due to his contract or force the ball to him. They also didn’t give him anything, but made him EARN everything. A lot of coaches TALK about it, proud that our team does it up and down the roster
He is obviously the worst Giants free agent signing ever, but the guy is a pro. He always blocks down field, he doesn’t complain ever and his teammates love him.
I’ll be glad when his contract is off the books, though.

Purely by a measure of ROI, Kenny Golladay's contract is worse than Nate Solder's contract. But you wouldn't assume so based on the effort some of us make to shrug off Golladay's lack of production.

What was his guaranteed money - 48m? He has 6 catches this year so that's only 4,000,000 per catch which isn't that far off market rate in 2022 .. right ???
If there was any chance that they might want to keep him then they would throw him the ball. (Not now in the playoffs).
I followed Nicks during his last year with the Colts in 2014. I couldn't believe that a guy so talented was going to be without a job three years from his peak.
He had really bad luck that the Colts picked him up. Luck's #1 1000 yard receiver was TY Hilton. The guy thrown to second most was veteran Reggie Wayne. He and Luck had chemistry. The tight end got the ball third most.
Nicks was only thrown the ball a few times in a game, and he was under intense pressure to do something to justify his salary. So he dropped some passes and impressed no one.
In 16 games he was targeted 70 times, averaged only 10.7 yards a catch and his longest gain was only 29 yards. They didn't need him there. The receivers that they had were good enough. As the new guy he was cut out.

He’ll have cost us a little over $40m for 2 years after we cut him this offseason.
True….but you gotta give him credit for his professionalism
At this point it is not about the contract just finding a way to contribute.
That is a very expensive block
Well let you know when anyone cares if you buy in.
You don’t buy into Daniel Jones either and how’s that working out?

you make a contribution it is greatly valued even for a play.

Always about the team my friend. Nothing personnel at this point. Just contribute.
I caught that too, lol.
It was a good block. That's two good plays since he's been here, if I'm counting correctly. But no complaints tonight!

I mean ... getting that contract?
I wouldn't expect any complaining by him
Sorry, $36 million each
Too late LOL

I think the same thing every game. I don't understand how Golliday has not been able to be used in the same way.
Hodgins must just run much better routes.
