I thought it said less than the Eagles. Disregard my previous post.
To answer your question, we'll see. Whatever works. I think we'll see a higher percentage than we saw against Minnesota but now sure about his yearly average.
We had a talent edge on the DL and they had one specific weapon in Jefferson to contain. It made sense to rush 4 and roll coverage over to Jefferson.
Talent edge isn't quite there this week, especially if Lane Johnson is healthy and they're a much more dynamic offense. The Giants absolutely have to create pressure so I imagine the gameplan will be to do whatever it takes to get there. Especially when you have Hurts nursing a shoulder and not performing well against pressure, you have to get to him.
to get Hurts running. And if he's running he's like a running back and not a QB and the Giants can hit him hard especially on the shoulder. I see Winks game planning for Hurts running and having the Giants gang hitting him at the shoulder. I see Hurts getting knocked out of the game because of his shoulder.
I expect a lot of disguised blitzes with the Giants dropping into zone

in the regular season either. 2 reasons - Cousins is really good against the blitz, and he wanted to shade safety help over to wherever Jefferson was lined up.
I think he goes light on the blitz this time out as well, also for 2 very different reasons. One, he’ll need extra defenders to help out with Philly’s 2 excellent WR’s in Brown and Smith, and 2, he’ll likely want a spy to track Hurts.
Than last week and plays man. Gonna come at hurts- he is worse under pressure (vs cousins who excelled against blitz). We are coming after them tomorrow night- win or lose. Hurts will pick you apart if we play how we played minny. Blitz is on this week and man up with on AJ, darnay on smith… they will adjust accordingly but I bet that’s how we come out
I think Wink will want to find a way to stop the run
and hopefully Hurts compromised a bit health wise helps with this. The other big thing is Johnson and I think will want to see where that situation is.
Get them into poor down/distance situations and then yes I think he blitzes. Make the Eagles front and Hurts show they can handle it. Adjust accordingly.
Usually we, and a lot of teams, send 4 or 5 but try to contain
the running QB in the pocket by keeping the DE's wide. This makes Hurts come up the middle if he wants to run, where we have a player like Collins "scouting" him. Running QB's are trouble when they get wide or if there is no "Collins" watching him
hurt us(pun intended) Blitz may have to come from the middle or our CBsor Safetys on the edge . Design 'em up Wink and hide them for us . Let the dogs out.

Long story short, Hurts is a drastically different QB when someone is in his face. I completely expect Wink to make sure someone is in his face...
put the QB on his fucking back.
