to continue to employ my viewing strategy that has done me well this year.
I’m going to try to relax and enjoy the game, I hope it’s a good game, I hope they win, if they don’t win I’m not going to be angry. I’ll be disappointed, and I’ll be able to fall asleep right away
Asking for a friend...what's an appropriate time to hit the bottle?
Considering that this game is going to end somewhere around midnight. It would be best to wait as long as possible and pace yourself. This is what my friend told me..
The great thing is enjoying not having to live in reality until we do. As long as the Giants are alive, I get to plan all the ways in which they are winning the super bowl.
It is fun to think it through or know that any thing is possible with beating the Eagles.
Anything is possible until it isn’t. I would love to be gifted with another week of day dreaming and a week of Giant focused articles and coverage.
So right now the Giants are on an amazing run to the Super Bowl. I will deal with reality when I have to.
As our 2nd and 3rd stringers were harassing Hirts and getting free runs at him all game.
Partly, their offense was different with decreased read option runs by Hurts, but Wink was on to something.
We know wink doesn’t usually do the same thing twice and the Eagles will fix what was allowing the pressure.
However,
I wonder if Wink found a weakness last game that he can exploit even more with his first team. I would love to see, of course, one of those 7 plus sack games.
What to know for officiating: Referee Clete Blakeman's regular-season crew tied for the fourth-most flags in the NFL at 14.4 per game. But it threw only 30 flags for offensive holding, tied for the fifth fewest. That could be of note for the Eagles, who committed the NFL's fourth-most holding fouls (30), as they try to slow the Giants' active defensive front. The Giants drew the NFL's fourth-most offensive holding calls during the regular season (24). -- Seifert
My son has a basketball game at 11. Afterwards we’re hunkering down to watch the ‘07 & ‘11 Divisional games on the big TV and college hoops on the little TV.
Every year except 1993, they have either won the Super Bowl or lost to the eventual Super Bowl Champions.
1981 - 49ers
1984 - 49ers
1985 - Bears
2000 - Ravens
Philly would have hands full with (mostly likely SF) and then AFC Champion. I'm feeling good about this, the Glenlivet will start flowing at 4:30.

Yeah. Don't like this ref for the game. He had no problem extending drives for the Eagles with fouls on DBs in December.
Yes, we know we shouldn't be here. We're way ahead of schedule on JS's re-build, DJ's resurrection (TT was going to beat him out). But, as JOrthman and Paysadaddy expressed on the Pat Kirwan thread, game emotions take a huge toll. For me any 'house money' cushion fades to black real quick, goes out the window once the game starts, the juices are flowing, emotions take over and we bend, break, or soar with each play.
I am going to try to remain objective given the set-up here, 6th seed at the way more talented and heavily favored #1 seed, but I know it will be futile. I will try to use the game as a better measuring stick than the first two vs Philly of where we stand, realistically, but, dang....LGG
but the reality is Philly "should" win. This game will tell us what gap remains and what Schoen needs to do for us to win the division.
I be very disappointed if he does not already know what needs more addressing. We still had a LOS issue against division opponents. It was clear as day. Close on the D side but Neal needs to advance and they need more IOL help.
RE: Looks like I will be getting Quiznos for dinner tonight
agree, and I'd add we need at least one additional quality ER (don't trust Ojulari to be on the field and he gets washed out too much) and at least one additional quality interior DL, Dex and Leo (if he stays) can't handle the workload Wink has been forced to lay on them.
Then, there's ILB, DBs, WRs, TE, the list is endless
8:15 can't get here soon enough.

Not one Eagle fan truly believes they will lose.....they all wanted the Giants.
Taking them down.....will be so sweet!
Let's do it!
9am - Bloody Mary
12noon - Beer
5pm - Martini
8pm - Scotch

We have to be the more physical team to have a chance today!
Go GMen!
Now I ask.....May I have another week of butterflies in my stomach anticipating San Francisco or Dallas?
It would be so sweet to win this one and drive out the LINC Demons that haunt us!
Not that I am superstitious or anything..

That sounds like a recipe to be passed out by 6.
Ready for Jones to author the next chapter to his story — the major playoff upset!
Jones near 400 total yds
Saquon 175+ yds from scrimmage
Giants 27 Eagles 15
BLESSED!

Depends on if your friend is a Giants fan or an Eagles fan….
Haha! I called this on a thread yesterday, lol
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere? But, probably best to wait for the early game to start?

I bet 1/2 of them are drunk AF already.
Big time.

Hopefully many of the dirtbag fans will be passed out by the 2nd half of the game.
Stadium gonna smell like vomited Yuengling
This is gonna be a looooong day
That’s actually amazing. I tip my cap.
Big time.
Go Giants!
THIS...and ONLY THIS!!
But let’s send these Philly mfs home.

Meant Cecil Blakeman
Our GW drive is ended by a dropped ball on a good pass or with Evan Neal getting killed by Brandon Graham, who then strip sacks DJ for the win...
Wait fuck that! 31 - 21 Giants!
DJ and Saquon carry the team and our DL whoops their OL! Let's go Giants!!!

But the real question for offensive holding is who the umpire is ...not the regular crews for the playoffs right?

You meant Clete Blakeman. I have attached a link where you can see the entire crew along with their regular season assignment
