that early in the game, but I know I don't trust the punter either. I would hope they move on from him. You need a consistent punter in this league, not an erratic punter.

Every time I see a list of positions of need, myself included, I see ILB, DT, CB, WR. I see some EDGE, some DE, some TE, some RB. I do not see P at all, yet most of us separately say he needs to go. P is a huge need for this team. When you plan on competing and contending, a good punter is a must. A very good P is a weapon that will win you a game or two if all else is sound.

I am sure they practice ,practice,practice this skill ! However, instead of standing off to side (flipping and spinning the ball) they could be doing something a little more productive. Like actually practicing kicking off to the side.


Don’t know what that is, but, these guys have coaches and Uber professional trainers. Kicking is a skill as is passing and hitting a sprinter on the run. I do not think that too many reparations would be unwise. JUST SAYING

Upgrade, sure.

However, the OP pointed out a specific play in last night's debacle.

Pinning them deep wouldn't have mattered IMO. We could have backed them up to South St. and they probably would have scored.
