You knew that pick would screw us the moment they made that trade and got him. I think his numbers would be even higher with Jones since he is a purer passer than Hurts. DG really got played there. And the panic pick of Toney was icing on the cake.
The Eagles play the draft right because of Roseman's trades and where they are. The Eagles have the talent so they csn be "aggressive" in getting the guys they want. The Giants have a long way to go to matching that talent level so being aggressive just means using multiple assets to acquire one player. We aren't one player away.

It should be noted that our RT was part of that trade. But the Toney pick was sub-optimal.
That's fair, it's more a commentary on the Giants wanting the right player, but getting beaten to the punch by the Eagles. It's a microcosm of what's been happening the last decade. They beat us in every way imaginable. They are aggressive. And after landing him, they just keep going and get A.J. Brown too. We pick up our starting WRs on waivers.
go back to back and ending up with Kadarius Toney was such an Uber flop.
This. Plus to go to Philly & Dallas. Insane. Neal looks awful also so fuck the extra pick. So disappointed today. Good season though but damn we didn’t even put up a fight last night.
. That bubble screen at the goal line?!? A 170 lb. WR basically used as a RB on that play? He should have been crushed, but was barely touched.
Really? do you think the Eagle's coaches are thinking about that draft, how MAYBE the Giants wanted Smith (conjecture)... and for that reason called plays for the guy in a playoff game?
Hysterical...
With that logic, they could have given Bradberry some carries at the end of the game in garbage time to rub it in our noses.

The Eagles were 4 - 11 - 1 the season before the draft when they drafted Smith.
He was part of the quick rebuild, not a "player away" scenario IMO.
They drafted better than some give them credit for, made good FA decisions and shrewd trades, but...
they are the 2nd or 3rd healthiest team in the league. After KC and GB, right alongside BUF.
All their draft picks from 2022 played 13 or more games. Same with their 1st - 5th round picks from 2021 (but those all played 15+ games). I'd love to have that kind of health.

Not sure why you feel the need to lash out at other Giants fans.
But you are right, coaches never play mindgames. Did you miss the Bart Scott TD?
He is a great receiver. He is going to get his catches. But the fact that they could not bring him down on that WR screen is pathetic.

Checkers vs. chess. It has to stop.

It is what it is..
The Giants need to build what they have....

You’re coarse. I need someone with diplomatic skills!
