Giants signed RB Jashaun Corbin to a futures deal today, per source. The undrafted rookie out of Florida State had an encouraging preseason as a runner and returner. He sticks in the program entering 2023.
I saw it last week, but I'm not very familiar with it.
It's just meant to lock up guys who aren't on NFL 53-man rosters for the next season. These almost always take place in January are are usually guys who were on the PS. But I expect our Nigerian OL to be re-signed too and perhaps some other street free agents or guys who were on other teams' practice squads.

Expect all of the young players from the Giants' P-squad to be signed to futures deals. Here is who has signed so far, according to sources: RB Jashaun Corbin, WR Kalil Pimpleton, WR Jaydon Mickens, OL Devery Hamilton, OL Korey Cunningham and CB Zyon Gilbert. More to come...

This may have been something akin to a big fat yawn, but given what Schoen/Daboll were able to do with “after thought” players this season, I’ll be taking a hard look-see at every single “fringe” personnel decision they make in the future!

Meant to tweet this out the other day: Dre Miller being listed by Giants as WR and not TE caught my attention. He was switching from UDFA WR to TE coming out of Maine this year and was TE this summer before his injury.

Rahim Moore was an all-time great one :P
Just look at the videos of this guy's last season at Florida State. He did everything. Big time plays, highly productive.

Plus Solomon Kingsley who signed after week 18.

Amen to that!

All have meaningful game experience. They may not have received offers from the Giants, or they may be hoping for better opportunities elsewhere.
