is getting closer to a meltdown when the HC is on thin ice, the QB gets an ants eye view of the bus’s exhaust system, and the owner : is Jerruh Jones.
Daks teammates gotta be thinking: am I next to get a Twitter bad rap?
but the guy wins. Don't know what he did wrong yesterday. Did he makes those ridiculous throws that Dak made?
He punted on 4th and 5 from the SF 40 in a tie game in the 3rd quarter and SF scored the winning TD and again with 2 minutes left ensuring that the best they could do was get the ball back with 90 seconds and no timeouts needing to go the length of the field for a TD. Joe Judge shit there.
enough to win it all. They play well enough to keep the frontrunners frontrunning, but then ultimately disappoint them all. I will be very sad when Jerruh shuffles off to the pig farm in the sky.
djm we’ve been posting on here for decades so no disrespect but I feel like you’re way off here. MM had Rodgers in his prime and now with a talented Dallas roster he’s underperformed. Dak looks worse than ever. I think he will be gone after next year and will never be a HC again ala Garrett.

but the guy wins. Don't know what he did wrong yesterday. Did he makes those ridiculous throws that Dak made?
He underachieved in GB with a star QB, got fired and took a job with a talented team in the Cowboys and underachieved there as well.
Agreed. Having seen Dabs in just one season as HC with Big Blue and the talent he had to work with, I'd put good money on Dabs doing a better job with Dallas's offense. No doubt Dak needed to play better, but McCarthy has to own the responsibility as well.
Lol, yeah he’s underrated. He went from coaching a HoF QB to a top 5 NFL roster with a QB in place which he had no hand in developing.
He’s not in the same galaxy as Tomlin.
It's kind of funny, Green Bay has been back to the Super Bowl since he left? Before McCarthy came, how many playoff wins did the Cowboys have with this top 5 roster? I am not saying McCarthy is better than Tomlin by any stretch, but this notion that McCarthy can't coach is literally insane.
Makes me root for him as person. Lost his mom to cancer in college, his brother committed suicide in the offseason before he blew out his ankle against the Giants. I like him.
But, I'm not sure if he's the same QB since that injury. Something is missing from their offense and I don't think its Kellen Moore holding them back.
he is an awful game manager and it appears he doesn't have or refuses to use any help from his staff when it comes to managing the clock. I love watching it. I wish he coached Philadelphia but unfortunately they're as smart as Dallas is dumb.

I didn’t say he can’t coach, I said he isn’t a very good coach and not on the same level as Tomlin. He’s been around for decades and learned from some really good coaches but he himself isn’t one of them. Constantly underachieving despite almost always having top NFL rosters.

Tomlin is a really good coach. He also had a lot going for him in Pittsburgh. Roethlisberger, AB, Leveon Bell, Emmanuel Sanders, etc. TOmlin lost a playoff game to Tim Tebow and won 3 playoff games I believe since the 2010 season loss to Tebow. That is with a decade of Big Ben. He has done well with less, but let's not go crazy here. Tomlin is 8-9 in the playoffs; McCarthy is a 11-10. I like Tomlin better but there ain't no galaxy separating these two.
but the guy wins. Don't know what he did wrong yesterday. Did he makes those ridiculous throws that Dak made?

Punting on 4th and 5 from the SF 40 was the right call, no matter how you play it out
It was tied at 9-9. SF had only kicked 3 fgs. i could see if it was tied 30-30 and neither team could stop the other. But in a 9-9 game with the other team only getting 3 FGs at that point, you have to play field position
And if i've only gained 5 total yards on 1st, 2nd and 3rd...what gives me the confidence that I can gain 5 on 4th
To start, I was thrilled when the Cowboys hired McCarthy. He's the coach equivalent of Kirk Cousins. Not terrible, but not great. Can mostly competently steer a loaded team to success, but isn't going to get more out of the parts than is there. You get one superbowl win out of 12 years with Aaron Rodgers, I consider that basically shooting par to below par. Just look at the way Dallas' season has ended the past few years. Disorganized. Chaotic. It's not a well coached/well prepared team...in particular offensively.
I like Tomlin a lot. I don't think he's an Xs and Os innovator in the way a lot of guys are. What I respect most in him is that he seems to be a fantastic leader and motivator, his teams are tough, resilient, and generally disciplined, and he has built a solid program in Pittsburgh where players and coordinators come and go but the success remains steady. I'd easily take him over McCarthy 10 times out of 10.
Tomlin is more in line with someone I prefer but he also is in one of the best organizations in football. He did not build the Steelers. They have been a outstanding franchise for a very long time. I think winning another SB with another QB will enhance his already outstanding one he already has.
McCarthy takes a bit too much heat for me. He has one a lot of games and he too has been apart of good organizations who support the HC's getting those wins.
I hate the Cowboys and would really love to laugh at that
what do you think his record is with the Giants this year?
I watched Mike McCarthy lose a big game to Joe Judge (Week 17, 2020). What else do you need to know?
How was that a big game?
Dallas lost Prescott for the year and finished 6-10.
Week 17 was the last game of the year. Dallas was already eliminated.
Ummm… Dallas was NOT eliminated going into that game. The winner would’ve won the division if the Eagles won later that night. No one knew that the Eagles “needed to see” Nate Sudfeld.
A classless act by a classless organization. Ironically, it was once the class of the league back in the Schramm/Landry days. Well done Jerruh.
The one thing I will say is that the class of the Giants organization is its greatest attribute. I may question the decision making and football acumen of the front office, but I never question its character or class.
Tweets like this remind me that even though I may be bitter this morning about Saturday's game, I remain steadfastly proud to be a Giants fan.

None taken at all Jint! I hope you're right...I tend to overrate dallas at times out of a fear of them winning. It's an odd coping mechanism for me. But I look at the body of work, all the guy does is win.
Tomlin gets a lot of love. McCarthy gets a lot of laughter and hate. I find that odd but maybe I am overrating him. I am aware of the penalties --dallas always commits a lot of them under Mc.
come with some warts or supposed weaknesses. Payton? Too many laughable home playoff losses. Even our own Coughlin had bad seasons here.
Tomlin? HE's lost plenty of playoff games and now seems to be treading closer and closer to mediocrity, and I love the guy.
Andy Reid lost so many playoff games that he was favored in I have lost count. Doesn't make him a bad coach. He's a great coach.
The game humbles so many.
Belichick's warts are that he hasn't won a lot without Brady. If Bill Walsh could've had a 20 year run with Montana and Young, instead of half that, maybe he's the GOAT instead of Belichick.

I know you’re a Niner homer but you simply cannot ignore that Walsh had an absolutely enormous advantage in an UNCAPPED world. He was a fantastic coach, for sure. But he and Belichick were not coaching on a level playing field.
Way to support your players!
Save the whale!
Take a guess who has more postseason wins:

Lol I was thinking the same thing. The last thing we need is Sean Payton coaching the Cowboys.
But he does have to be better, and I doubt he has much untapped ability/potential to tap into.
