We knew what we were. A well coached under talented team that won more games than projected and the realistic fans KNEW we were going to get smacked Saturday. We just aren't talented enough at key positions to beat the eagles. That being said, Dallas was supremely confident and Im sure JJ said some dumb things and it gives me great joy seeing them implode.

Not really at all. Two main themes:
- Dak ain't it
- Tired of having all this talent and success in the regular season and not being able to win in the playoffs.
That is nothing like us.
My one friend really felt they were overmatched by SF going in and the other (doesn't know the other Cowboy fan) felt pretty good that they matched up well.
Of course, if SF does get to and win the SB with a 7th round, last pick QB on a miminum salary; they can load up elsewhere and really ramp the talent up.

They are deeply wondering if they have in Dak what the Vikings have in Cousins; a QB that only gets you so far.

Trey Lance isn't a blown trade whatsoever.
If you're not going to credit Purdy as a good QB or good enough QB, guess what, Lance is still very much the future. You think Shanahan wants Garoppolo 2.0, even if he's free?
Why is the narrative that Lance sucks when he just got hurt? He's a project QB but was drafted to play in the very modern NFL. Jalen Hurts looked like a bust ~365 days ago, and now it looks like he needs to be stopped to get to the Super Bowl?
Next weekend and potentially two after that will tell a lot about Purdy/Lance. If you can't beat the best without throwing the ball significantly downfield, then Lance is going nowhere.
If not, then it changes things slightly.

They may safe money on Purdy but that's 3 blown #1 picks that they are eating. Will see how long they stay strong. Great job overcoming that blown trade but effects haven't been fully felt yet.

Eh, you have to look at it differently.
That's the price they paid for a franchise QB. If they lucked into it being Purdy instead of Lance, it's weird, but it works.
They can trade Lance this offseason and recoup some value.

One more thing ...
To be fair to Breaker, Hurts was a 2nd round pick so way different scale of expectations compared to the #3 overall pick.
