The clip of his family cheering on Daboll in the tunnel after the game was cringe enough
They were being supportive and appreciative the best they knew how. I'd rather see them do that in tough times than good ones. It's easy to be seen when you're good, but when you're bad nobody wants to show up.
Seriously. They own the team, and minimum he just made the family heirloom a little more valuable. I'd cheer him too.
The Maras aren't bad people. They want to run their business and thought some of their family members could do it. They were wrong and recognized that (I think with a little help from their partners), but that doesn't make them bad just naive. I am glad that they stepped away, at least thats how it appears.
Honestly you have an issue with the Mara family most of whom are probably fans of the team just like you are celebrating a coach who got them to a place they havent been in six years with a talent roster that has talent deficiencies in several areas ?
They cant applaud the coach as an appreciation. celebration and thank you?
and TV with the guys who carry his mail. There will be more revisionist history about the role he and his brother played in their 10 year lost weekend. Their father's lost weekend lasted 15 years so they improved on that.
RE: Some of you guys are ridiculous with your crap

Really.. That bothered you ?
Agree! People love to bitch and moan over nothing.
That doesn’t mean people can’t find it cringe. I’d wager a guy like Daboll didn’t want to walk by a group of trust fund kids clapping for him immediately after his team got their ass kicked.
They got their ass kicked for four quarters.
The head coach, known to run hot, is steaming mad
The season ended on a dull thud
It's funny to get a round of applause in that moment.
professionals do the talking, but I don't share the hatred of our owners. Remember 2 nfl teams won 6 Super Bowls, 2 won 5 and 2 including the Giants won 4. On the other hand, these teams - the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Chargers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans have never won a Super Bowl.
It comes off wrong in that moment and is comedic in some sense. That wasn't the best time to do it, but they were kids and meant well at the same time. Guys who lose like the Giants did don't want to be cheered like that in that particular moment either. C'est la vie I guess.
but also do not need him putting his foot in his mouth right now with the boatload of contracts the Giants need to negotiate, among other things. Both things can be true at the same time.

especially over the past decade. I gave him credit for finally realizing that he needed to just hire someone outside of the organization and then step back.
I also like that he does not continuously put himself in front of a microphone like Jerry Jones. The 2x per year press conferences are more than enough.
I also agree that he should wait (before commenting on the season) if possible until the Jones and Barkley situations have been played out.

It really was hysterical
Is there a link to this or a gif? Totally missed it.
Do you have a link?
Wow, I see you cringe easily.
Thank you TTH.

There s nothing wrong with this. Complaining about something like this reflects more on the complainer than the target
Mara is the owner, I want to hear what he has to say. I hope he makes a statement.

^This.
As for John, the less he says...the better. My fear is that he'll spout out to Serby or someone at the League Meeting in a couple of months.
